Such a sad story but a little bit of kindness may go a long way?

I read the article last night and it brought tears to my eyes. Such a brave little boy but so sad.

I saw this too and have written down his address and will send a card. It's a heartbreaking condition. Poor kid and poor mum having to try and keep his spirits up under those circumstances. I wish some he admires, if anyone, a footballer or someone would take him under their wing, mentor him, spoil him even. The kid deserves it and it would maybe maintain his spirits.

Second ever MN post, this really touched me and also brought tears to my eyes.
