She's speaking so much sense at the moment about brexit. I think she'd do a good job at running the country and is saying the truth about what boris Johnson! Would be good to get prescription fees and tution fees scrapped in England also!

and tution fees scrapped in England also!

Free prescriptions for those who can afford them is a ridiculous waste of resources.
Do you not think this money could be put to a LOT better use? It really annoys me!

There are hardly any police on the streets yet people who earn a good wage, get a free £7 prescription? Yeah..... great 🙄

Chloemol · 28/08/2019 23:01

I am lying on the floor laughing at this post! She couldn’t run a piss up in a brewery

Twiggywinkle13 · 28/08/2019 23:02

My goodness listen to yourselves, if you’re all so sure that England is subsidising Scotland (next joke) I’m sure you would all be happy to let us go. Surely independence is coming soon! I hope so anyway.

19lottie82 · 28/08/2019 23:02

Let’s face it Nicola couldn’t do any worse than the arses in charge now ffs

You think? Check the figures on Scottish levels of poverty, drugs deaths and nhs / education standards in the last 5 years and come back to us on that!

riversideA · 28/08/2019 23:14

No, she's awful.

theunrivalledjoysofparenting · 28/08/2019 23:14

No way, she’s single-minded about the Scottish Indy ref. Has no thought for anything else.

newstart1337 · 28/08/2019 23:16

UGGH - She is as bad maybe worse than Corbyn

ThroughThickAndThin01 · 28/08/2019 23:16

No
No
No

HateIsNotGood · 28/08/2019 23:16

Lots of Nicola Hate expressed here - I'm surprised when there's so many here that vouch for an Indie/sub-Indie (EU) Scotland.

She's a Scottish Nationalist and that's the drum she bangs and she doesn't stop banging that drum so she's consistent and does her job. Which also involves being a constant Thorn in the Side of The English - and she is pretty good at that - like it or not.

Although I did laugh at Tracey Ullman's sketches of Nicola and Wee Mairie (also quite like Mairie too).

sweetiepie1979 · 28/08/2019 23:24

Well before she does that could she have a go at sorting out the fucking state of the secondary schools in Scotland first. Wasn’t her big thing going to be Education it’s a mess here it really is and dire choice for your children and the couple decent schools they have in Edinburgh you can’t get in to the catchment area for the house prices it’s a mess.,, A MESS !!!! 😡😡😡😡😡😡

Grafittiqueen · 28/08/2019 23:36

It's a no from me.

GrouchoMrx · 28/08/2019 23:45

The nincompoops are certainly on in force tonight celebrating our new dictatorship!

Gort · 28/08/2019 23:47

No way, the NE of her own country has been suffering for over 5 years thanks to the slump in oil price. Redundancies, lay offs, business closures completely ignored because to bring attention to the fact that oil isn't Scotland's golden goose brings the whole indyref2 charade crashing down.
Awful leader of an awful party.

Redglitter · 28/08/2019 23:48

It's bad enough we have to suffer her here I wouldn't want to inflict the horrible woman on the rest of the country

aprilanne · 29/08/2019 00:26

Well I am Scottish and our free prescriptions are a joke you get the cheapest version crap is what it is then they give you another to protect your stomach from the cheap rubbish .we have to pay privately to get the good stuff for hubby .our schools are rubbish to a point of being a laughing stock she cares about one agenda and to he'll with the rest of us who don't agree .as my granny used to say the woman couldn't organise a piss up in a brewery sorry for the sweary words useless she is

The fact that it takes Bozo being PM to make her look acceptable should tell you something.

BohemianDream · 29/08/2019 00:47

Why on earth are people slating free prescriptions? 'We have to pay privately to get the good stuff for hubby' Jesus Christ I can't believe I just read that, though it gave me a good laugh. Free prescriptions should be available to all who need them, frankly I can't believe that England has not adopted the same policy.
I also don't understand why people moan about her desire for independence, she's the leader of the SNP, of course she wants independence! Yes there was a referendum already, but that was long before Boris Johnson. What the fuck else is she supposed to hope for?

TwoPupsandaHamster · 29/08/2019 00:47

AIBU To wish Nicola sturgeon could take over the UK

What? Are you serious? Confused

Nicola Sturgeon would be more use to the UK if she fucked off somewhere else! Spain, France, Germany, Brussels, Outer Mongolia, Russia, India, The Sahara Desert... .... Anywhere!

user1471439310 · 29/08/2019 00:49

I live in the U.S. surlycurly and that is insulting.

BohemianDream · 29/08/2019 00:50

@Blueoasis
Are you a man? I find your insults to be quite misogynistic. Dumb bitch, stupid cow?

sailorcherries · 29/08/2019 00:52

To the people complaining about the state of schools and local roads, that is your council.
We have a Tory Coalition council who have spent more in to putting fucking decorative lights near roads and commissioning statues than education. They could have plugged more, fixed more, done more but didn't. Statues and decorative lighting.

Blueoasis · 29/08/2019 00:54

@BohemianDream no I hate sturgeon. She is what is driving Scotland into the ground, and people who follow her are blind to see it.

aprilanne · 29/08/2019 00:55

Bohemiandream see if your hubby was crippled with stomach pains because of the unbranded medicine do you think you would be laughing then even our doctor says they are the cheapest .I would pay 10 pounds each time or a yearly prescriptions no bother .if you can afford to pay then pay but hey it's a vote winner to all nanny who vote her

Blueoasis · 29/08/2019 00:56

sailorcherries my council is sadly snp, never likely to change either because of where I live. I never vote snp but doesn't make a difference. Stuck with them.

Since Scotland likes to bleat on about how we didn't vote for brexit, can I harp on about how I didn't vote for the stupidity of my council and get my way? Didn't think so. Hmm
