I was desperate for dominos today but was good and stuck to Spag Bol so it would have to be dominos for me!

uppershopping · 20/08/2019 20:49

I'm so leaning Domino's

OP posts:
twinkledag · 20/08/2019 20:49

Chinese!

TheTrollFairy · 20/08/2019 20:49

McDonald’s followed by brownie from dominoes (if they still do them)

uppershopping · 20/08/2019 20:50

Twinkle, that wasn't an option my love. That's a Saturday night choice. Not a Wednesday lunchtime! Get it right!!

Sandybval · 20/08/2019 20:50

Dominos! But Google 'dominos discount tool' and you pop your postcode in and it will show all of the available discount codes.

uppershopping · 20/08/2019 20:50

I see Sandy has played before Wine

OP posts:
speakout · 20/08/2019 20:51

Neither.

Dinner alone would be something from the supermarket- fresh prawns or mussels with crusty bread.

AndNoneForGretchenWieners · 20/08/2019 20:51

Domino's, because if you go two for Tuesday, you have LEFTOVER PIZZA tomorrow for breakfast lunch!

uppershopping · 20/08/2019 20:52

I'm not sure this is the thread for speak

OP posts:
uppershopping · 20/08/2019 20:53

Excellent tip Gretchen

Pipandmum · 20/08/2019 20:53

Ugh no I only do dominos when the kids want it I’d never have it on my own (ditto Micky Ds).
If I had a decent Chinese nearby they would get my order!

uppershopping · 20/08/2019 20:53

But Piiiiip, that's not the rules!

OP posts:
Sandybval · 20/08/2019 20:54

@uppershopping it's not the same since the double decadence base was discontinued though, hangovers have never been the same. although I haven't had a night out in so long anyway Can't beat a chick and mix box though.

bogoblin · 20/08/2019 20:55

Ah, if your Domino's has the create a pizza legend with however much off then you can just make your usual pizza and it will be cheaper! Discovered this neat trick recently Grin

uppershopping · 20/08/2019 20:56

Omg I'd forgotten about the DD base!

My order of choice is a create your own with bbq sauce (instead of tomato) double cheese and PINEAPPLE! YEEEEAH

OP posts:
uppershopping · 20/08/2019 20:56

How does the legend thing work?

OP posts:
MindatWork · 20/08/2019 20:57

Defo dominos OP - maccies will be cold by the time it gets to you 👍🏻👍🏻

Gotta be Texas bbq tho...

edwinbear · 20/08/2019 20:58

McDonalds - because they are currently doing a DOUBLE quarter with cheese.

bridgetreilly · 20/08/2019 20:58

Indian or Chinese. Or get something lovely from M&S just for me. I would rather cook for hundreds or just eat dry bread than anything from McDonalds.

nopixelsfound · 20/08/2019 20:58

I'd Papa John's with their two for Tuesday equivalent to be awkward (actually only because the dominos here is awful for some reason). They seem to basically have the offer on every day of the week with a slightly different name too. Maccas is great, but doesn't deliver as well plus leftover pizza is king

Ithinkmycatisevil · 20/08/2019 20:58

Got to be dominos for me.

bogoblin · 20/08/2019 20:59

So if you look at deals you can create your own pizza legend for 30% off, you just pick your base and toppings, I fancied a pepperoni so just made up a pepperoni and boom 30% off Grin

dollydaydream114 · 20/08/2019 21:00

Domino’s, although for me it’s more something I’d order late at night when drinking rather than a midweek lunch. Domino’s is also somehow the ideal takeaway for a big TV event - an Olympic opening ceremony, a big World Cup game, an election night etc. I will totally be ordering Domino’s for TV coverage of the Queen’s death one day, I’m sure. It goes so well with rolling news.

Midweek lunch alone I’d probably just have a vast platter of assorted cheeses and crackers. Like the kind you’d get at a posh buffet for 40 people, but to myself.

DariaMorgendorffer · 20/08/2019 21:04

McDonald's always.
