I'm thinking I'm pregnant?! Going insane

Some one talk me down. I'm shaking. I can't stop crying.

We tried for years to have ds who's now nearly 6. Having been trying since to have a much wanted other. Had a few miscarriages early in so I really shouldn't be getting excited.

We were told by doctors we wouldn't have another.

One of my best friends died last week and in my grief fog I had sex with dh as I knew I was ovulating (after ten years of trying to conceive you're pretty damn sure when it's happening). I knew I'd get pregnant. I've never been so sure.

I can't breath. I feel like I can't move ever again.

Infertility is very tough OP.

I got obsessed with testing, and after lots of disappointments, it suddenly struck me that testing early doesn't change the outcome.

If I was pg, I'd have been pg- knowing either way didn't change the fact. So I stopped testing until I 'needed' to (eg was going out drinking).

That was the only way I stopped myself going bonkers.

Oh I've driven myself bonkers years past. Tested 10 plus times a day, driven round to friends house to demand they see a non existent line, had my period full on for three days and still insisted I'm pregnant!

I'd chilled right out the last year or so though.

just do a proper pregnancy test? im sorry to say but those ovulation tests dont look positive to me.

Really hope you get a positive. I'm 11 weeks pregnant and have been trying for 2 years. Me and hubby were about to start fertility in July and then on fathers day we found out we were expecting. I know too well how easy it is to get overly excited. Rooting for you

Surely if you DTD last week and were ovulating it's too early for a positive pregnancy test? Wouldn't count yourself out just yet!

@mcmooberry I'm 13 days past ovulation and period due tomorrow. Sorry, initial post was confusing.

I'll test in a few days if I don't get my period but I want to clean the world and strangle dh so I'm assuming af is on it's way.

Don't know if anyone remembers the 'crazy things you do when pregnant' thread from 6 years ago when I consistently lost my shit and ended up throwing poor dh's iPad in a puddle because he woke me chainsawing. Christ we were a nutty pregnant bunch.

@Rivkka I saved the wee from this morning and added afternoon pee to it (much to dh's horror) and tested with that.

Just curious, how come OP? (Saving this morning’s pee and adding to it I mean. I didn’t think it worked like that)

@Bellasblankexpression I'm not really sure! It's not the hormone would wear off is it? Maybe I should test again this morning?! He bought three tests and I'll be damned if this is happing again so may as well use them!
