Staying with a friend.

I can't even.

Do I fix it?

Do I tell them how wrong this is?

Do I end the friendship?

If DP did this I'd obviously LTB.

Unless... am I wrong? Have I been doing this wrong all my life?

SEND HELP.

(Lighthearted, obvs)

Burn the house down, it's the only way Grin

I'd turn it round if it was a good friend, and then use it to take the pee for a while

Yesicancancan · 29/07/2019 09:54

Huh ?? I don’t see any hell, fresh or stale ?

bloodywhitecat · 29/07/2019 09:54

Someone has replaced the roll? Mercy be, that never happens in my house.

Wearenotyourkind · 29/07/2019 09:55

Your friend is a MONSTER Grin

Heymummee · 29/07/2019 09:56

Run. Run as fast as you can and don’t look back.

Livebythecoast · 29/07/2019 09:56
Shock Its on the wrong way - should be over the loo roll not under?
Applejack5 · 29/07/2019 09:57

I'd turn it round!

Hope you're ok OP.

ThinkIveFoundYourMarbles · 29/07/2019 09:57

You need new friends, OP. Peer pressure can be a terrible thing.

PurpleSproutingSomething · 29/07/2019 09:57

It doesn't matter who it is, turn it for their own sake. Maybe they were drunk or having a bad day.

ThatCurlyGirl · 29/07/2019 09:59

It's just... you feel like you know someone and then this.

So disappointing.

I'm cancelling her cheque.

I might scream at it like it's the Sistine chapel until she sees the error of her ways.

OMG you have to put it right. Straight away. Then only speak of it if your friend brings it up.
If they automatically put it the wrong way after you fix it, just put it right again. Every. Single. Time.

I saw this in the Chapel of Rest when I went to see my DGM. I told my sister it would stay with me forever. So far it has.

Flowers for you ThatCurlyGirl

ThatCurlyGirl · 29/07/2019 10:01

I might go home to have some cutted up grapes and a chill out until I feel better.

I guess I never knew her at all.

Grin

Your friend is correct and you are all wrong.

Bigearringsbigsmile · 29/07/2019 10:02

this is the correct way. learn from her superior loo roll placing skills and copy her from now on-anything else is just WRONG.

apostropheuse · 29/07/2019 10:03

It's your duty to turn that around. Obviously if your friend can't accept the error in his/her ways you must never return to that house of shame. That picture is actually a bit traumatising, could you perhaps ask MN to put a warning in the thread title?

Ceramique · 29/07/2019 10:03

Does your friend have kittens/young cats? It's the only acceptable reason.

PurpleFlower1983 · 29/07/2019 10:04

Put it right immediately!! Shock

YouFellAsleeep · 29/07/2019 10:06

Just end the friendship. You don’t need people like that in your life!

Isitweekendyet · 29/07/2019 10:06

All that is missing is a Mrs Hinch wet tap stamp!

Quick get a bucket, rectify the situation and dive bomb from her bathroom window never to be heard of again.

God speed.

22Giraffes · 29/07/2019 10:08

You poor thing having to witness such horror Flowers your 'friend' is not who you thought she was.

ThatCurlyGirl · 29/07/2019 10:12

Thanks so much for the support everyone.

I guess maybe her kid could have done it? I'm just so busy this week and feel like a call to SS might be too much for me.

I'll ask mumsnet to put a TW in the title, I'm so sorry I was in such a state I didn't think.

Ps @MrsTommyBanks

I saw this in the Chapel of Rest when I went to see my DGM. I told my sister it would stay with me forever. So far it has.

You absolutely win the Internet today Grin

I might put it in the school whatsapp group, at least people will know what she's like and then they can make their own minds up if they feel able to continue a friendship with her. I can feel her raging at me at the school gates now but it's the right thing to do. She didn't invite DS/DD (delete as appropriate - I don't actually have any yet) to her DCs party so I'm already pretty hurt tbh.

You need to separate the ply/sheets and wind one back so the two lots of ply perforations are at different levels. It’s the kind of protest it deserves to be honest.

Zaphodsotherhead · 29/07/2019 10:15

TRIGGERED! TRIGGERED!

That's it, my day is ruined.

MarianaMoatedGrange · 29/07/2019 10:16

Oh OP! I was hoping for a very chill day - but now I've seen your pic of that......abomination.....I'm feeling very tense and unsettled.
