Him: Can you do lunch next week?
Her: Yes I can do Monday.
Him: Just remember, you are brave and strong, life is a daily battle that you’re winning, Every day gets easier I'm telling you!!! You are beautiful kind, intelligent and hard working, nothing else matters
Oh and you have a good looking boss.
Xxx

What would you think?

He’s response shows his guilt, well don’t even think he feels that but shows it’s not innocent! And claims he’s good looking? Is he that good looking?! Dump him, before he dumps you, he’s a pig.

upple · 20/07/2019 09:57

Marthas how do you know it's the same OP?

Amibeingnaive · 20/07/2019 09:57

Also, he's a sleazy wanker who is exploiting his position of power and his employee's current vulnerability to try and get into her knickers.

If he succeeds, it will somehow be your fault.

Get. Rid.

MarthasGinYard · 20/07/2019 10:02

'Marthas how do you know it's the same OP?'

I was on the previous thread

AS shows it under OP's username.

tiredvommachine · 20/07/2019 10:08

Oh dear!

SagAloojah · 20/07/2019 10:12

why would I do this?

Maybe because your husband has more respect for these women (who are randoms even if they are colleagues) and calls them 'beautiful kind, intelligent and hard working' and yet calls you an 'immature cunt' tells you to fuck off and grow up?

Going by your previous posts he is the owner not just the manager.
Is he modelling himself on Phillip Green?

I assume you will stay with him for the lifestyle.

EleanorReally · 20/07/2019 10:25

reads ok to me but i havent read thread, only the text he sent.

EleanorReally · 20/07/2019 10:28

i know, How dare I have a different opinion to the hoards of mn!

Nanny0gg · 20/07/2019 10:30

@EleanorReally

You can have whatever opinion you like...just helps if it's an informed one.

tillytoodles1 · 20/07/2019 10:33

When my daughter's H was having an affair, she was suspicious and asked him outright. He said she was a stupid twat. Just thinking he may be angry that he's been caught out.

TheFlis12345 · 20/07/2019 10:39

I work in a very informal industry where a text like that wouldn’t be seen as a big issue or that inappropriate, but his reaction to you questioning it is and tells you all you need to know. I would instantly leave any man who thought it was ok to call me the c word under any circumstances.

JustDanceAddict · 20/07/2019 10:40

I flirt a bit w male colleagues/friends on messenger but it’s all harmless, dh knows who they are, we meet in mixed groups etc.
No-one is anyone’s boss etc.
I’d be more concerned about how he reacted to you As it’s pure defence on his part.

FookMeFookYou · 20/07/2019 10:41

Apparently I'm pathetic, immature for being upset so he's done with our relationship. (He's said this many times before)

I said I'm upset because I love him and feel disrespected, he says it would be easier if I didn't love him.

He says I'm twisting things and he can write whatever he wants to whoever he wants and I should just grow up and trust him.

I said that he's disrespecting me and our marriage, his response- 'Fuck off and grow up.'

And you're still with him?

Teaandchocolatecake · 20/07/2019 10:45

Why would you stay with someone who is so open in his contempt for you?

roseyposeypuddingandpie · 20/07/2019 10:48

I just woke after going to bed in the early hours.

Thank you to all the constructive responses. It's a bitter pill to swallow but I know what I have to do.

To all the nasty speculations based on nothing I hope you're proud.
@OhDearGodLookAtThisMess

What a horrible thing to say.

Op

Did you get to the bottom of the things found in glove compartment? What did her say?

funnylittlefloozie · 20/07/2019 10:52

My exH called me a cunt once. That was the point at which our marriage ended. We limped along living together for a few more years, but i was done from that moment on.

MrBlueSkype · 20/07/2019 10:53

@marthasginyard Currently sitting in my husbands car, opened the glove compartment to find £300 cash, a packet of wet wipes, a pair of latex gloves and a toilet roll.'

The Op from another recent thread I was on of OP's

The replies on that one though! Grin

WhoKnewBeefStew · 20/07/2019 10:54

I'm afraid anyone who called me a cunt would be out on their ear.

I suggest you tell him that you've had a think about your discussion last night, and that you agree with him, then tell him to leave

EleanorReally · 20/07/2019 10:54

We can't know the whole story here op.
context is everything agree,

you do what you feel is right, dont go rushing into things.

roseyposeypuddingandpie · 20/07/2019 10:54

@MarthasGinYard

Nope, I still have no clue but clearly I'm suspicious of his behaviour.🤷🏻‍♀️

Weirdly I do trust that he hasn't been unfaithful but I still feel that the way he speaks to other women is highly inappropriate, he has made me feel like a complete fool.

OP posts:
swingofthings · 20/07/2019 10:59

I had a boss on e who would have written something like that. It was the way he was. We all agreed quite innapropriate but he never once took anything further. He just liked to see himself as a counsellor with a funny sense of humour.

Personally, I'd be much more concerned with him telling you it would be easier if you didn't love him as much as you do. If that's not s reaming 'I want out but I can't because your too vulnerable and I don't want to share my wealth', I don't know what is.
