They really are astonishing pictures, part of an ad campaign. He looks just like mum. I'm not keen. Please Google for ref, can't do link.

It is a bit weird. Can't quite put my finger on why.

Which ad campaign? I googled but none of the pictures that came up were remotely uncomfortable looking.

Yes, they are a bit odd. I showed my husband them and asked who he thought it was, he said Liz Hurley. He is the spitting image of his mother although looked like his father when he was very young.

I don’t know about uncomfortable. I felt a bit sad. Whilst I know there would be many advantages, it must be tough growing up in the shadow of a famous person. And then being made to look like your mum in a photo shoot.

For me it is wierd because he looks polished like a china doll and china dolls freak me out.

Particularly the Gif doing the rounds where he pouts and opens his eyes.

The short GIF I saw had him tossing his hair around with parted 'I'm ready to give you a blowjob' lips.

The reason I think it made me feel creepy is because we're so used to seeing women portrayed this way that it feels odd to have it done by a man (boy!) because it highlights the gross oversexualisation of women in the media. From shampoo adverts to perfume to, well, anything really.

I still think he looks like his Dad, the hair and makeup are done to make him look like his Mum. When you see them together it's more lady with pretty lapdog then mother and son.

Is it the Pat McGrath ones? I genuinely can’t see why they would make you uncomfortable! Unless you just find androgyny weird generally. He’s a very striking looking kid - although I don’t think he looks just like his mother. They have very similar eyes and colouring, but his mouth is totally different.

Because the ridiculousness of the pouting, eyelash-fluttering expressions we’re used to seeing on women is highlighted when they’re performed by men?

He looks completely vacuous and self absorbed

How on earth can you tell this from a series of photos that have been styled and staged as part of an advertising campaign?

He does look just like his mother. He’s very beautiful.
