The Unexpected Gift of Joseph Bridgeman - about a guy who discovers as an adult that he can time travel and tries so go back to save his sister who disappeared when she was seven. I’m loving it and am struggling to put it down!

I’m on holiday so reading loads! At the moment I’m on “Another Love” by Amanda Prowse about an alcoholic mum. It’s a sort of fascinating but painful read. Just finished a brilliant book called “What Alice Forgot” by Liane Moriarty about a woman who bashed her head and lost her memory.

WhoKnewBeefStew · 12/07/2019 15:30

I owe you one - Sophie kinsella

BuildBuildings · 12/07/2019 15:30

Children of Ruin by Adrian Tchaikovsky. I read the first one set in this universe last year and loved it. I'm really getting into this now. Scifi and speculation fiction gets a bad rep but I love it, however it isn't all created equal!

missyB1 · 12/07/2019 15:31

Forgot to add I loved The Silent Patient!

WhoKnewBeefStew · 12/07/2019 15:31

Ice read the Stephen King one. One word 'brilliant'. In typical SK style it takes a bit of wading through the first few pages but persevere. It's a great book

Pigletin · 12/07/2019 15:31

The racketeer by John Grisham

BuildBuildings · 12/07/2019 15:35

Speculative

MyKingdomForACaramel · 12/07/2019 15:36

A reading Vox - quite enjoying but wonder where it’s going.

BlueMerchant · 12/07/2019 15:40

22/11/63 is absolutely fantastic.
Love King and this is great. It will really stay with you. Haunting.
( Much better than 'me after you' et al books I dipped into. 22/11/63 is in a different league)

BlueMerchant · 12/07/2019 15:41

I'm currently re-reading 'After Sunset' Smile

The Friend by Dorothy Koomson.
I’ve read the Amanda Prowse one a pp mentioned, and the first two of the Jojo Moyes trilogy, but not the new one.
I love Liane Moriaty too so will look out for Alice at the library.
