How can you not love these beautiful things, people.

How about a little piggy each, instead, then? Look:

No don't do that unless you hate them

crispysausagerolls · 05/07/2019 13:44

What about a combination of the pig and the gorilla? One of each, then they can mix and match?

Hahaha88 · 05/07/2019 13:49

Jaysus!! The pigs are even worse!!!

Please just give them money. They don't want you to adopt a monkey for them, or give them a creepy monkey baby (and I pray to God they aren't black or you'll be opening up a hole can of racist issues too) Just. Give. Them. Money

crispysausagerolls · 05/07/2019 13:52

Are there any other animals available OP?

FunInTheSun2019 · 05/07/2019 13:55

You are being VU!!!! You can't just get them twin baby monkeys without a cot, nappy changing bag, nappies, bottles, bibs, clothes, baby slings etc..they will be so unprepared!

Starlive23 · 05/07/2019 14:05

Those pigs will give me nightmares!! Although full points for originality OP, I don't think anyone could outdo you with any of your suggested gifts!

magneticmumbles · 05/07/2019 14:11

How about an annual pass to a zoo? Or something ordinary like a John Lewis gift card?
What's with the shit monkeys?

Paddington68 · 05/07/2019 14:14

NO, NO, NNNNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.

Paddington68 · 05/07/2019 14:15

Do you need an adjustment of your medication?

NotAsDrunkAsYouThinkIAm · 05/07/2019 14:25

They might prefer this one.

crispysausagerolls · 05/07/2019 15:56

I don’t think that’s lifelike enough

pigsDOfly · 05/07/2019 16:53

That monkey thing is bad, but the pigs? Just repulsive.

Do people actually buy these things?

bigfatmoggy · 05/07/2019 17:37

OMG I'm killing myself laughing. Where did you even find these OP? Classic........ Grin

Imdabest1 · 05/07/2019 17:44

OMG no! Its horrendous

Tessabelle74 · 05/07/2019 17:45

Why would you go to the wedding if you hate then so much??

juleswatford · 05/07/2019 17:48

This is just a piss take. I admire your creativity and also the time you invested it trying to find the most ugliest present in the World.

nuxe1984 · 05/07/2019 17:57

Bloody awful! If you're a nature lover then you wouldn't appreciate animals being dressed up in human clothes.

Better to get some sort of art piece … a sculpture of an animal or a painting. Or adopt an animal at a zoo for them.

SoupDragon · 05/07/2019 18:00

They aren't animals, they're dolls.

comfysocks8516 · 05/07/2019 18:04

Haha amazing op - bloody do it

oakleaffy · 05/07/2019 18:05

This surely is a troll post...a silicone ape dressed in human clothing?...just NO.

Orang utans suffer so much as they are 'utesy cutesy' when young, but soon mature into huge adults that are often abandoned.
This model plays into that stereotype.
Give them cash instead :) or something off their wedding list.
Like a toaster.

WildAngel · 05/07/2019 18:12

are you for real?!?!?!
not only is £150+ mega bucks for a wedding present but who would actually want one of those and not be totally freaked out?!?!?
think you're actually doing this as a late april fools!!!

HippyMama90 · 05/07/2019 18:13

Nooo personally would have been horrified and slightly upset at receiving this as we were struggling with infertility and got my period the morning of my wedding... I'd have felt it was in some way mocking my journey (over emotional time)

So id make sure 100% they aren't suffering infertility be for gifting.

That aside, a monkey dressed as a baby is a bit weird.

EllenMP · 05/07/2019 18:14

Uh, no. Nothing to do with wildlife, weird, and you have to be VERY close to BOTH parties to give them a joke wedding present. If you want to nod to their love of wildlife there are many wildlife charities with Adopt - an - Animal schemes that would make a nice gift for any occasion. Maybe adopt a pair of animals of the same species to reference their new pairing?
