A couple I work with are getting married. They are bog lovers of all forms of wildlife.

Grin I'm picturing them opening the gifts with glee after the celebration and then the horror of seeing it. How would they be able to sleep in a strange hotel room knowing it's there ... watching .... waiting ....

Alsohuman · 05/07/2019 19:01

I bet you’re even drunker than I think you are, OP.

Lottle · 05/07/2019 19:04

😂

Xxalisoncxx · 05/07/2019 19:12

Please put this in classics, it’s really cheered my rubbish day this! One of those PG tips monkeys as a ‘stocking filler’ actually I always wanted one of those.

MrsBizzyBody · 05/07/2019 19:26

Ok lady step away from the crack pipe. If this isn’t a complete joke and you really do want to get them something animal related why not sponsor a real animal like an orangutan through WWF do some good with that money. support.wwf.org.uk/adopt-an-orang-utan?pc=ATB001001&gclsrc=aw.ds&ds_rl=1262365&gclid=EAIaIQobChMI5LDc87Ke4wIVqbDtCh0N1AlMEAAYASAAEgLx-_D_BwE

Passenger42 · 05/07/2019 19:27

Got to be a joke, who spends £150 quid on work colleagues for starters

AlansLeftMoob · 05/07/2019 19:38

The replies to this Grin Grin

Sweetpea55 · 05/07/2019 19:45

Weird and fucking awful

Brocks1981 · 05/07/2019 19:47

I'd say if you think they'd like it then yes. I loved the unusual gifts we recieved, and they felt like people had made more of an effort, wewere inundated with tea yowels and toastersnone of which matched our colour scheme and we had lived together for some time anyway so we really not needed. It was the ones that were specific to our interests n hobbies that really touched us.

NotAsDrunkAsYouThinkIAm · 05/07/2019 20:17

@Brocks Thanks. :) I do see people's point about how adopting them an orangutan would be a better idea... kind of torn which way to go.

Enchomage · 05/07/2019 21:04

You can not be in the least serious. That is horrible. If you are serious you need to figure out why it is so awful and be ashamed.

RedRoses718 · 05/07/2019 21:07

Lifeover · 05/07/2019 23:00

I’m getting one for work he can sit at my desk and I can occasionally pick him up for a cuddle. No one will ever approach me with work ever again, I can sit on mumsnet all day

pigsDOfly · 05/07/2019 23:07

Yes, Lifeover but then you'd have to go home in the dark alone and have nightmares all night.

Mummymummums · 05/07/2019 23:14

Get two I think.

TakeMe2Insanity · 05/07/2019 23:17
