I think they are both lovely. It must be hard to choose. I think any couple would love such a thoughtfully chosen present over something boring like money.

Big lovers of wildlife - so you buy them a monkey doll dressed up like a baby? Wtf? This doesn't say wildlife at all. It is hideous that it is dressed in human clothing. I don't think monkeys, gorillas etc do that in the wild.

If they have a garden it might be better to buy them a bird box, ladybird house and box for bees to encourage wildlife into their garden or pay for a year's subscription to a suitable magazine.

That's superb! I may get one for my husband's vacuous niece and her philandering fiancé. I've been struggling to find something passive-aggressive enough, but one of those will do nicely. Thy live nearby, so I could take to popping in and pointedly looking around for my lovely gift.

In all seriousness, I can't stand the niece or her man, but there is no human being that I hate enough to inflict one of those on!

Some people would see this as a passive-aggressive gesture; and depending upon the giver, it could definitely be that. My MiL would be capable of giving me this to convey the message that she thinks I'm an old bat. But I'd be over the moon to receive it!
