That's a room, not an apartment

Nameusernameuser · 24/06/2019 13:40

Jesus Christ Grin where do you keep your clothes?Grin

Ijustwanttoretire · 24/06/2019 13:41

It's London - all property is a pisstake!

LikeDolphinsCanSwin · 24/06/2019 13:41

The microwave looks dangerous. Imagine trying to get something hot out of it without tipping it on your head!

HesterLee · 24/06/2019 13:42

Are the loo and shower seperate or in the same room?

LikeDolphinsCanSwin · 24/06/2019 13:43

It’s probably the sort of thing someone who wants a weekday crash pad would go for.

Sparklingbrook · 24/06/2019 13:43

Good grief.

Sparklingbrook · 24/06/2019 13:44

I could recreate that by putting a bed in my kitchen.

TokyoSushi · 24/06/2019 13:44

Oh wow, somebody's put a bed in a kitchen!

Thisnamechanger · 24/06/2019 13:44

Me and colleagues just stared at it for a full minute going "WHERE DO YOU PUT ALL YOUR SHIT?!"

babysharkah · 24/06/2019 13:45

That is horrific and I live in London. I would hazard a guess it's borderline on the space requirements for legal renting.

PowerhouseOfTheCell · 24/06/2019 13:46

'Self contained' No shit! Confused

BooksAreMyOnlyFriends · 24/06/2019 13:46

Def a mon-fri let. Dh used to rent somewhere similar.

ErrolTheDragon · 24/06/2019 13:47

"Single occupancy only!" ... no shit!Grin

crazyasafox · 24/06/2019 13:49

LOL! What a dump.

Just so you can live in the hugely overrated London.

GiantKitten · 24/06/2019 13:52

That's a single bed in a utility room Shock

DS2 rents a bedsit in Brixton for £640. He has at least 3 times that space (shares bathroom though) - double bed, triple wardrobe, small square table with 2 chairs, small chest of drawers, & he's also managed to cram in a full-size piano keyboard Grin

NotTheQueensBirthday · 24/06/2019 13:53

It is tiny, but I agree with the poster who said it would do as a weekday crash pad. Also, I have a few friends who lived in affluent Asian cities in their 20s/30s and flats like this seemed to be pretty standard there for single people.

Rowennaravenclaw · 24/06/2019 13:53

Depressing

53rdWay · 24/06/2019 13:54

V practical. I have always wanted to reach the washing machine without getting out of bed.

Thisnamechanger · 24/06/2019 13:55

I was googling because a colleague at work (younger than me but some way) just moved in on her own and has been the subject of a lot of (good natured) jealous ribbing as all of us in our 30s are still house sharing. Can't imagine the bliss of having your own pad!

OP posts:
HappyHammy · 24/06/2019 13:56

That's not even a bedsit

IsabellaLinton · 24/06/2019 13:57

Holy shit.

Alsohuman · 24/06/2019 14:00

Definitely a Monday to Friday job, you could possibly cope with it four nights a week if you went out a lot.

Funnyface1 · 24/06/2019 14:02

Wow, that's incredible. I'm in West Yorkshire so really quite shocked by London property.

FlyingElbows · 24/06/2019 14:06

Seriously, what is it about London that makes people want to pay through the nose to sleep on some pallets in someone's garage? If nothing else it very "crime scene" chic!
