I love how we're all different and I'd love to see how different our body types are.

I had a nasty shock this morning as I stepped on the scales and found out I weigh 74kg - the heaviest I've ever been!

I'm petite at 5'2" and I'd say I'm a curvy size 10. I have a big bum/legs from training and I strangely have a small waist but big hips and excess fat on my tummy.

I suffer from endometriosis so I do struggle to lose weight but I wondered how we all compare and if you have any healthy lifestyle tips.

I workout roughly 3-5 times per week and this is a combination of jogging, dance, weight session and cardio machines.

I am hoping to TTC next year and I an anxious of how much weight I may put on.

6 foot tall, 14 stone 8, size 16.
I don’t look ‘big’, I’m very hourglass, big boobs and hips with a small waist.
I was 13 stone 5 a couple of years ago and a size 14 which was perfect for me although I had people say I looked too skinny 🙄
I was 10 stone once in my early 20’s and still a size 12. Looked horrendous, way too thin. I’d say my ideal weight would be about 12-13 stone.

MonstranceClock · 24/06/2019 10:43

I'm made of lead. I weigh about 3 stone more than I look like I do Grin

5ft4, size 10, 13 stone!

sergeilavrov · 24/06/2019 10:46

We’re expecting our second child this week, but I’m 5’3 and was 40kg pre-pregnancy. I unfortunately am rather top heavy, so I’d describe my general shape as ‘strange’ and ‘lopsided.’ I have long legs too, so I’m basically just legs and breasts. Not exactly Kim Kardashian!

Right now I’m 50kg. I know it sounds like a lot of weight to gain, but don’t worry about it - it keeps your little one healthy, and that quickly consumes you more than my body concerns ever did! I lost my appetite entirely after we had our son and it dropped off me, but hopefully will do it healthily this time.

5'8"
8 stone 12.
Very slim all over. Athletic/skinny.
Age 48.
2 kids.

I do a lot of exercise: run 20 miles a week, swim 1K twice a week, maybe a bike ride and boot camp.

gerbilfun · 24/06/2019 10:52

5ft 4
9st 5
Size 8-10
Hourglass shape.
I don't exercise 🙈
Eat what I like 🤷🏻‍♀️
Have 5 kids
Don't ever put weight on (only when I'm pregnant) and I've been trying too for 2.5 years.

feelingverylazytoday · 24/06/2019 10:53

5'4" , 9st 13, wear 10 in trousers, 12 in tops. Sadly I'm an apple shape, I'd love to have a nice defined waist but that has never happened, even though I have been very slim at times.

InMyOwnParticularIdiom · 24/06/2019 10:54

10 stone
5'2
Size 14 on average (sometimes 12 in tops and 16 in bottoms)
I'm a generous hourglass (was more of a classic hourglass in my 20s)
I'm the same weight as I was pre-DD but pregnancy broadened me. And made my feet more than a size bigger Angry

Happyspud · 24/06/2019 10:54

57kg and 5ft 5.5inchs. I’m a bloody size 12! Fairly balanced looking from top to bottom.

waterlego · 24/06/2019 10:57

I am between 9.5-10 stone, 5ft 3, boyish/straight-up-and-down shaped! Size 8-10 on bottom (very narrow hips) and 10-12 on top (small bust but wideish shoulders and ribs). I have quite low body fat generally (not naturally but due to weight training) but when I gain fat it tends to go on my waist and tummy first.

Tigerbandage · 24/06/2019 10:58

5ft6
8stone 5
Wear size 8, sometimes 6 or 10!!!!

lapislazulia · 24/06/2019 10:58

5'6 13st4 size 14/16
Most of my weight is in my lower half, wide hips, muscular legs. My waist is small in proportion so I can get away with a smaller dress size, but jeans are a nightmare.

Thank you Blush The weight loss comes courtesy of WeightWatchers and the muscle tone courtesy of Chris Chapman, UK national bodybuilding champion, and my hugely inspirational personal trainer; he works me really hard Shock Couldn't have done it without either my WW buddies or Chris; a bit of moral support and people believing in you goes a long way.

waterlego · 24/06/2019 10:58

Mostly I’m happy with my shape and size but occasionally wonder what it would be like to be a proper woman-shape and be able to fill a dress in hip area!

EmeraldShamrock · 24/06/2019 11:00

I am slight.
I am a size 8, I could squeeze into a 6 but it wouldn't fit properly or be comfortable.
I am 5ft 3, 7st 12lb slim shoulders and hips so petite frame, I don't look boney, I am fit
I have muscle on arms legs and a small round stomach.

EnidBrighton · 24/06/2019 11:00

5'3'' and 117lbs. I've lost two stone recently and thought I was doing well until I read someone here saying they are my height and were 40kg (88lbs!!!!!) before pregnancy. Must learn not to compare myself with others. I'm a size 8-10 apple shape with 30FF boobs that I flatten down with a sports bra because I hate them. I'd ideally like to lose another stone to feel confident about myself again. It sucks how much of our self worth is tied to that stupid number.

EmeraldShamrock · 24/06/2019 11:03

Tigerbandage
You look fab.
From the weights against heights on the thread a size 10 must really vary.

Tigerbandage · 24/06/2019 11:09

Thank you!
I’m 39 with 3 kids, I do watch what I eat and run a couple of times a week, I do a few press ups every now and again but not big on weights or anything

b0bb1n · 24/06/2019 11:10

I forgot to put my body type. I think it's kind of strange. I am quite a slight build but I have quite athletic shoulders, a small waist, and rounded hips. So in the right outfit I can really like my figure but I am very self conscious of my shoulders because they're not the lovely, rounded, sloped shape most women have. But I do like my body from the boobies down lol.

Littlechocola · 24/06/2019 11:12

5”2 6stone8 (trying desperately to put on weight) and size 6-8. Pear shaped. All bum, no boobs.

ifonly4 · 24/06/2019 11:18

5"3, approx 7st10lbs (have put on 6lbs in last year, I think due to my age) . I measure near to a size 8, but more and mor finding size 8 is too big. I have a light coverage everywhere (well more on my tum and bum)

CookPassBabtridge · 24/06/2019 11:24

This is what BMI doesn't take into account.. shape.
I'm 12stone 12lbs, 5ft 7 and look slim. I have a wide frame so weight hangs off me well, my extremities are all bony. I'm aiming for 10stone 10lbs as any lower than that and I look ill.

Camomila · 24/06/2019 11:28

5'3" and 49kg. Size 6-8. Small boobs, small waist, larger hips. Typical Southern European shape.

I'm currently 9/10 weeks pregnant and look a bit pudgy. Will feel better when its a noticable bump.

GoldenNoodle · 24/06/2019 11:30

I'm 5"5 and weigh just over 10 stone. I originally had a fairly fit athletic body with muscular legs and small boobs. However, I'm 43 now and am a bit podgy round the middle and hips. I'd love to lose my spare tyre! I am usually a size 10 on top and around a 12 for bottoms.

DrVonPatak · 24/06/2019 11:36

I'm 5'7, 80, bmi 27.5, size 14. VERY muscular (42%) as I have just spent two years getting my bmi down from 34 and fat mass from 39% to 27%. 36D boobs.

Note that I have PCOS, high testosterone and a carbohydrate enzyme deficiency, for which in itself the average bmi is 40, so I'm unlikely to go any lower.

And yes, for me it's metformin, keto diet and gym every day. But I'm happy with my body now.

Needadvices · 24/06/2019 11:37

Im 5ft4 and weight 59kg, which im really unhappy about! Ideal weight would be about 54kg
