I love how we're all different and I'd love to see how different our body types are.

I had a nasty shock this morning as I stepped on the scales and found out I weigh 74kg - the heaviest I've ever been!

I'm petite at 5'2" and I'd say I'm a curvy size 10. I have a big bum/legs from training and I strangely have a small waist but big hips and excess fat on my tummy.

I suffer from endometriosis so I do struggle to lose weight but I wondered how we all compare and if you have any healthy lifestyle tips.

I workout roughly 3-5 times per week and this is a combination of jogging, dance, weight session and cardio machines.

I am hoping to TTC next year and I an anxious of how much weight I may put on.

5'2 and 7 stone 6ish. Usually a 8/10 on bottom depending where shopping and a 10 on top.

TheGirlWhoLived · 24/06/2019 23:23

I’m 194lbs and 5”3. Size 14 hourglass, 34F boobs but two children and a 5.5st weight gain with one has left me a dough belly Grin

CeeceeBloomingdale · 24/06/2019 23:25

5'2", apple shaped and currently weigh 10st 3lbs which is overweight for me. Dress size is 12-14, more often a 14.

alittleprivacy · 24/06/2019 23:30

5'1" and weigh 53kg (8st5), age 40. I have an hourglass figure and visibly muscular legs and arms. I wear size 6-8 but that's only because sizes have gotten more and more nonsensically generous in the last decade or so. I'm pretty sure that in vintage 90s clothes I'd be an 8-10.

I never ever work out but my hobby is skating, so I spend a couple of hours a day having fun in a way that happens to be high intensity cardio and greatly muscle building. I'm careful about processed sugar and simple carbs and I'm not much of a drinker.

LizzyMac40 · 24/06/2019 23:33

5 foot five. 10 stone 8 between 10 stone 10. I have been bulimic/anorexic since i was 14. I still am wary. I eat loads of protein and consume two protein shakes a day. I get urges when I am near to bleeding. I can't eat high carbs, high sugar, I bloat when I eat high carbs. Basically I live off eggs and chicken as my body can't accept anythingkse. It's taken me 30 years to understand why I feel ill after eating high carbs.🙄🙄😩

annabelle1992 · 25/06/2019 00:20

I'm currently 14 weeks pregnant, 5ft8, weight 9st2lbs. Not really sure what size I am at the moment. Pre-pregnancy I was 8st12lbs and size 6-8

Leftielefterson · 25/06/2019 00:23

I’ve lost a bit of weight recently and am down to 8 st and an 5”6. I’d say my body shape is hour glass. I’ve got a small waist and big hips.

Goodnightchristopherrobin · 25/06/2019 00:38

Size 6, 8’6 and 5’6Grin

DifficultSituation19 · 25/06/2019 01:04

5’8”, 9st 6lbs, size 10. I don’t have boobs and I’m not sure where my waist has gone. I feel a bit flabby around my tummy and upper arms, but don’t do any exercise because I am not well a lot of the time.

Trying on festival clothes in this pic BTW, it’s not my everyday attire Grin

BossAssBitch · 25/06/2019 08:44

ambereeree
@bossassbitch has your waist thickened with peri m?

My waist has stayed as it was but my bottom and hips have got much bigger! I was athletic shaped into my forties but and as I have got older I have got more curvy. I have always had a flat stomach so even though my new shape took some getting used to, I like having a fuller body now, I wouldn't like it if my stomach got bigger though so I do watch what I eat and train a lot, I have to be much more disciplined to avoid the middle age spread!

Clockworkprincess · 25/06/2019 09:06

5'2" and 10 1/2 stone last time i checked. Measurements are 38 - 28 - 38. Typical hourglass figure i hate clothes shoppibg. Can be anything from size 10 to size 14 depending on style and fit. Have reasonable muscle around arms, legs and stomach. Am aiming to get down to 9 1/2 stone though by October.

Spanielsanddaughters · 25/06/2019 10:04

5ft11, 15.10 stone, generally a size 18. Or 16 on top, 18 on bottom.
Have been up to 17stone, and down to 13.
Would like to be down to 13 again.
I think my recommended weight is 11/12stone but I think I wouldn’t be very nice then.

Carry most weight on my legs and bum.

Gigia · 25/06/2019 10:34

5ft 4, around 61kg, size 10.

Mamabear12 · 25/06/2019 10:39

I am 5'8 and currently 64 kilos. I am 14.5 weeks pregnant though and pre pregnancy I am 60 kilos. I have a slim body type and I believe a lot of it is just genetics. I can eat what I want and stay a slim size. But that being said, I do not gorge on foods. I eat normal amounts and I walk everywhere as we don't have a car (I also have a dog that gets me out walking).

Sproink · 25/06/2019 10:53

I only dip in and out of MN but every time I do, there seems to be one of these threads.

Size 6, 8st 7ish, 5'6"

Not sure what body shape I am. I have a very small waist and a biggish bust for my frame. If I put weight on, it goes on my saddlebags first so probably pear.

Rosemary46 · 25/06/2019 10:54

Dress sizes can be very deceptive. Some people wear mostly dance / sports wear with lots of Lycra and prefer the fitted or even skin tight look. So they probably wear a smaller size and squeeze into it.

Other wear a more formal style, like office wear, or they suit clothes that are loose and casual. So they probably buy a size or two bigger than the first group, even if they are exactly the same size and shape.

I think this explains why there are lots of people on this thread who are a similar height to me ( 5’ 5”) , weight 1-2 stone more and say they wear the same size / a size smaller .

We are all telling the truth , we just have very different personal style.

Goodnight are you in the US?

You have a great figure. How do you stay so lean and toned, and have you had children?
What sort of stuff do you eat etc

I'm 5'4 and wear 54kg but have a flabby belly :(
I don't eat a lot but still don't lose any weight in that area. Don't go gym as don't have childcare..

EmeraldShamrock · 25/06/2019 11:12

ReturnofSaturn I found the 3 or 7 minute workouts on YouTube great for toning your tummy, you can do it in the living room.
Short bursts 2 or 3 times a day.

PutYourBackIntoit · 25/06/2019 11:33

Reading this thread has been helpful, as I've realised I should probably go to the gym to put on weight. I'm too light for my size and height, and that's why I feel do flabby. Need to convert the day to muscle.

I'm 5'7", 11st and size 16. Mostly belly and bum, no boobs, slim legs. Diastatis recti :(

MondayMonday89 · 25/06/2019 11:55

PutYour I really don't think you need to put any weight on.

SolitudeAtAltitude · 25/06/2019 12:10

I have been 6ft and 12 stone for decades, sort of athletic build with very wide-set hips

Have gone from a size 14/L to a size 12/M over the last few years. Clothes are getting bigger, I am def not getting smaller Grin

PolkadotLollipop · 25/06/2019 12:24

You don’t need to gain weight, putyourbackintoit. It sounds like you need to be doing strength and toning exercise instead.
