Help me - sick in hotel **Thread contains references to upsetting content - Title edited by MNHQ**

Not sure what exactly I want from this other than maybe distraction.

I’m in a central London hotel for 2 nights for major work meetings, DC are with a babysitter, she’s great but young.

I’ve started being ill as soon as I got here, I’ve been sick and crippling stomach pains. I’m basically trying to sleep in a hot bath to sooth them. Fairly sure next door think I’m having a good time from all the groaning but honestly feel like I’m giving birth it’s agony Sad

I have no water, or painkillers and can’t leave the room to get any which is upsetting me. It’s a basic hotel so no room service to order from.

I am having to keep the bin near to be sick in and this is really really really upsetting me because last year I was raped and as part of the prelude to that I was forced to gag/vomit in a bin. And it’s just playing on my mind constantly now.

I’m worried about work. I’m worried about the DCs having whatever this is, the babysitter not coping and me being stuck 2hrs away.

And I REALLY need water and pain relief!

Sorry for the general rant.

Sorry, I am in the USA, but don't you have PostMates in London? You can order anything to be delivered. It's an app on your phone and they usually even give you free delivery for the first time you try it.

HappyPeopleDay · 19/06/2019 04:28

Also OP, don't try to sleep in the bath - too dangerous. If the pain is that bad, as others say, you should call 111 at the very least.

twinnywinny14 · 19/06/2019 04:31

How are you doing now OP?

Mummyoflittledragon · 19/06/2019 05:32

I hope you’re ok?!!

DaisyDreaming · 19/06/2019 05:39

I hope by now you either got medical advice or are finally sleeping (in bed). I’m sorry your alone, in pain and the bin is triggering bad memories Flowers

darlingtwinklebum · 19/06/2019 06:03

Hope you're ok Thanks

Marriedtomyjob · 19/06/2019 06:06

I hope you’re feeling better now OP, but if not I agree you should call 111. Don’t worry about your meetings if you’re too sick to go - nobody is going to die if they have to be rearranged.

StealthPolarBear · 19/06/2019 06:12

How are you op?

LoafofSellotape · 19/06/2019 06:17

Hope you're ok OP.

Post Mates sounds a fab idea, we need that in the UK!

Petitprince · 19/06/2019 06:18

Hoping you are asleep in bed?

WanderingTrolley1 · 19/06/2019 06:22

Hoping you’ve found some relief, OP! Flowers

Thursday452poh · 19/06/2019 06:26

How you feeling this morning)

FancyAPint · 19/06/2019 06:47

Hopefully the OP's absence is just because she has managed to drop off.

gotmychocolateimgood · 19/06/2019 06:51

Hope you are feeling better OP

SoupDragon · 19/06/2019 07:13

I hope you're feeling better, OP

The tap water is perfectly fine to drink though - I don't understand all the people who seem to doubt this!

Wildorchidz · 19/06/2019 07:36

Hopefully the OP's absence is just because she has managed to drop off.

Hopefully in bed and not in the bath

LittleFairywren · 19/06/2019 07:39

Hope you're ok op, I second those saying you need medical attention.

Honeybee27 · 19/06/2019 07:44

Hope when you're feeling better you'll complain about premier inn who have offered you no help at all!

Hopefully if it's a bug it will pass quickly x

JaneyJimplin · 19/06/2019 07:47

I hope you're sleeping (in bed, not the bath) and feeling better. If not, can you contact a colleague and ask for help?

Singleandproud · 19/06/2019 07:49

DD was sick in a premier inn so I couldnt leave her, I called reception and they bought up a big bottle of water, cleaning supplies (offered to do it themselves but i declined) and offered spare sheets and towels.

Ellabella989 · 19/06/2019 07:50

My friend had a twisted bowel and her symptoms were sickness, extreme stomach pain and constipation. Please get reception to get a doctor out to check you over if you are still feeling dreadful x

Dillydallyalltheway · 19/06/2019 07:50

Hope you’re feeling a bit better, you must feel very alone in a hotel room whilst feeling so poorly. Flowers
