To think ‘oh no madonna’

Madge is on graham Norton. She literally can’t move her face and can barely open her mouth she’s had so much surgery. It seems to have affected her speech it’s so bad.
She’s always been so great but it’s all so disappointing that she has fucked with her face so much.

I thought she was extremely rude. She talked over Sir Ian all the time and tried to make everything about her. And the way she spoke to GN when he asked about her residency.

I did wonder whether she was under the influence of something. She seemed quite vacant at times

In a way, the biggest ‘fuck you’ she could have given would have been to grow old naturally - to not succumb- and that’s why I find it sad

Between the inexplicable eye patch, the corset making her boobs look like a shelf and the fact that she appeared to have forgotten to dress her lower half, I was just a bit bewildered.

She was amazing. She mustn't have anyone in her life who can tell her that she's acting/looks like a knob. Cheryl Crow is three years younger...now she looked amazing.

Absolutely EmmaGrundyForPM - she came across as rude and petulant. The way she spoke over other guests and demanded her drink was embarrassing.
Although then we couldn’t quite decide whether we should feel sorry for her instead. We honestly thought she was going to have a medical emergency. Something wasn’t right at all.

She was nervous, I think she had low self esteem even at her level. She definitely has issues with focus which I think is a lot of the reason she is so successful and creative.

I totally want to be in a basque and hot pants at 60, and fuck the patriarchal naesayers.

You know this. I know this and quite a few of us know this. But to avoid the trolling she would have otherwise received for being e.g. "old, haggard, tired looking" means she's chosen this route. She really can't win because on the one hand whilst the lot of us would have praised her for embracing age and all that comes with it - there'd have been a ton of articles deriding her for choosing to do so. Yet here we are on the other end criticising her for succumbing to it.

And I know I'm not innocent of this myself, I carry a lipstick in my bag specifically for when I haven't had time to do 'my face' and don't want to look washed out. My partner doesn't seem to see the difference but I 'feel' it. It's a very warped thing.

Lip fillers never seem to work on anybody, even Kylie M.
Liz Hurley's definitely had something done to hers, imo, but apparently an operation not just injectables.
Madonna used to model for (I think) Max Factor with the tagline, "For the most beautiful lips in the world". Sigh...

On another note, as a PP pointed out - she did seem somewhat 'out of it' as though she'd taken something iyswim. But I'll leave that alone as lord only knows even the most confident of us have our moments of sheer self doubt and anxiety.

I’m not an uber fan, so my comments don’t come from that place - but me and hubby enjoyed her interview and the show tonight.

The grill on her teeth didn’t help her speech, but I thought she was being quite funny with the demand for the glass, the standing up because her corset was too tight and banter with Sir Ian.

I also thought she didn’t look quite well at one point (she was almost panting) but I guess that was because her corset was tight!

I did think she looked beautiful in one of the montages of her new work where she had soft hair, no grill and no eyepatch.

Hubby said he warmed to her (having said all sorts of rude hugs after Eurovision!), and thought she was clever being softly spoken toncommand attention!!

I think women over a certain age in that particular industry are almost all beginning to have the same look. I think it's down to fillers. Actually, John Travolta and Tom Cruise too off the top of my head.

Sheryl Crow looks great with her lined un-injected face - it moves! and the smile is great - what a contrast from the frozen-facen Madonna - she's only 4 yrs younger!
I can see that M wants to preserve her face just as it used to be - and it does work on photos/videos, but irl it's dreadful like a mask with no expression and ages her a lot.
Sheryl Crow should be a poster woman for ageing naturally (though haeing natural beauty in the forst place does help).
