Walking along behind someone who is vaping is horrid

Peak vaping-in-the-street time - 5:30pm - have just walked behind or past at least 5 vaping people to reach train station. It’s so stinky. Yeuch.

I actually really like it. Usually smells of sweets.

I'd rather walk past someone vaping than a cigarette or cigar

Is it not better than smelling someone smoking?
I get lots of people wafting or being PA loud when smoking.

People will moan about anything. This is a really small thing which comes of living in a world with other people.

I quite like it. I walked through a mango cloud today, it smelled delicious.

I agree. It's less gross than cigarette smoke but there seems to be a larger volume of it produced. I agree we all live in a world with other people, that doesn't mean I have to like a lot of things that they do that make my environment less pleasant - like littering or spitting or smoking/vaping.

I guess you breath in other people’s breath all the time, but you can’t usually see it or smell it (hopefully). I don’t think there are any dangers to passive vaping are there? Most of them smell quite nice and the cloud soon dissipates.

Walking past smokers is disgusting though, the smell lingers for ages. Passive smoking is also bad for your health - I think smokers should exercuse a lot more consideration than a lot of them do and go away and hide whilst smoking.

Move to the side, buy a mask, get over it. It's not cigarette smoke, so they're already up on the smokers by not harming you.

I have to say it doesn't bother me.

It's a very momentary thing and is quickly dispersed.

I don't particularly like the smell but I'd say I find it far, far less unpleasant than walking near someone doused I'm strong perfume, the stink of cannabis or tobacco, driving past a freshly manured field or walking on a pavement next to heavy traffic and breathing in all the toxic diesel fumes.

In the list of things to be upset about this is way, way, way down my list.

There is no reason for it to smell so awful. One of XH's good points was that he vaped liquid with only the nicotine in it, no smell at all.

I like it. Its better than the ultrafine particulates we constantly breathe in towns. Stop whingeing.

It's sooo much better than cigarette smoke.

I think its anti social, but rather that than cigarettes. Often I'm pissed off about it when I see the cloud heading towards me and then have to admit to myself it smelt amazing.

I don't like walking behind someone who has extremely strong perfume or even strong washing powder, the smells actually hurt and can give me a headache.

I really dislike following someone who stinks of BO or booze or food or trapped somewhere with someone farting...

Such is life though.

It smells like cancer and a future health scandal.

Meh! I'm not keen on the sweet, sickly smell either.

But there are many things I don't like the smell of.

I think it's far worse than cigarette smoke! There's so much more of it. I'd rather catch a whiff of cigarette than be absolutely enveloped in artificial strawberry vapour

Ditto with stinky anti-perspirant and hairspray that people seem to think it's okay to spray all around changing rooms!

It reminds me how much of other people's breath I breathe in and I realise why I get so many colds! I hate the smells too. Are there different levels of steam volume or do some people just breathe out more than others?
