To put up and shut up with the transphobia on here?

I am fully supportive of the LGBTQ community and don't feel it is my position to question or undermine those who believe they were born in the wrong body.

And yet i see literally hundreds of intolerant posts on here and say nothing. Probably because I'm worried about being shouted down.

This is part of the problem isn't it? I should speak up.

Does anybody else feel like this or is it just me?

If you can't define this something else, can you define transphobic? Or is that also whatever you feel it is?

sackrifice · 08/06/2019 23:33

I do love the fact that people who cannot answer why they believe men can become women are able to call women asking them why they believe this 'transphobes', when they cannot answer the actual question.

Trebe · 08/06/2019 23:33

Rufus, thats what I'm saying.

TheClitterati · 08/06/2019 23:34

"I was just genuinely curious as to what under his eye was even supposed to mean."

Many on this thread have asked you genuine questions too - but you won't answer.

@isabellerossignol I agree with you

Rufusthebewilderedreindeer · 08/06/2019 23:34

Sorry trebe

Its getting late and i should really stop posting!!

Abject apologies Wine

LimeKiwi · 08/06/2019 23:34

What do you even mean won't be good enough
As in, if it's not something that fits your tunnel view, you won't see anything else.
What do you mean by transphobic well if you don't know even when pointed out, there's no point explaining, yet again, is there?
It's deja vu. You've asked this before and people have pointed out when you have been and even when things have been deleted straight after you still don't or won't see.
So what do you do if you can't see, it's beyond anyone else's help

IvanaPee · 08/06/2019 23:35

I was just genuinely curious as to what under his eye was even supposed to mean.

Yes and we’re all curious as to what this “anything else” is that you’ve posted about yet you can’t answer? Strange!

LimeKiwi · 08/06/2019 23:35

OK, what won't I answer? Haven't intentionally missed anything.

Rufusthebewilderedreindeer · 08/06/2019 23:36

ivana

But are you GENUINELY curious

TheClitterati · 08/06/2019 23:36

Well using "right wing tactics" that are also "left wing tactics" does not make radical feminism right wing.

IvanaPee · 08/06/2019 23:38

@LimeKiwi you absolutely have intentionally avoided answering more than one poster ask you to clarify what you mean by “anything else”.

One answer you posted was “read my posts”. Again, many said they had read your posts and couldn’t see an answer.

So I’m GENUINELY curious (no lol necessary): what is this anything else you speak of?

Trebe · 08/06/2019 23:38

No I'm saying they claim to be left wing and sometimes use right wing tactics.

TheClitterati · 08/06/2019 23:38

@LimeKiwi clearly doesn't
Know what the transphobia they are accusing everyone of actually is!

sackrifice · 08/06/2019 23:39

As in, if it's not something that fits your tunnel view, you won't see anything else

I don't have a tunnel view, I have an understanding that men as a class are a threat to females as a class. Are you saying this is incorrect?

LimeKiwi · 08/06/2019 23:41

What is this anything else you speak of
See, I've answered that one.
It's biology, it's also a female sense of self.
They're both a thing.

Jarnsaxa · 08/06/2019 23:41

It's daring to question any part of the transcult narrative, that's what transphobic is.

isabellerossignol · 08/06/2019 23:41

I identify as someone who isn't transphobic. So based on the logic shown by trans rights activists I'm fairly sure I could in fact whip up real hatred towards transgender people but it wouldn't actually make me transphobic because I believe that my true self is someone who isn't transphobic.

So we're all good.

IvanaPee · 08/06/2019 23:42

@LimeKiwi no you didn’t actually answer but that’s ok. We’ve dragged it out of you now.

So, what is a female sense of self? Because I don’t think I got mine.

I mean, I feel like me a person. Nothing to do with my vagina.

So if we all have this same “female sense of self”, what is it? Cause mine might be broken or, as I said, non-existence.

isabellerossignol · 08/06/2019 23:43

It's biology, it's also a female sense of self.
They're both a thing.

But the female sense of self doesn't appear to be something that actual women have. So how come some non women have it, if it's part of being a woman?

Jarnsaxa · 08/06/2019 23:45

Can we use the 'identity' as something other than reality in other situations?
it'll save loads of money on policing and the justice system if everyone can just identify as guilty or innocent.
what about exams?

OccasionalKite · 08/06/2019 23:45

Men are not women.

It is not bloody rocket science.

Men are not women.

And the vast majority of women, when asked, would prefer not to to have to share women's single-sex spaces with men, because men are men, and women are women. And men are not women.

Not transphobic, just reality. It's just women's personal safety in a world dominated by men.

TheClitterati · 08/06/2019 23:46

@IvanaPee is it how you feel when you get those fancy fingernails?

Or is it that fucked off feeling when you realised the housework will actually not do itself?

Surely men feel these things too though?

CantspellWontspell · 08/06/2019 23:47

No I'm saying they claim to be left wing and sometimes use right wing tactics.

If they are not exclusively used by the right wing then aren't they just "tactics"?

Trebe · 08/06/2019 23:48

I think he is trying to say you have a sense of yourself as a person but the socially constructed gender would say you identify with being female. In that sense does what he is saying make sense? A sense of yourself as a female.

TheClitterati · 08/06/2019 23:49

No because female means female Sex.
