To put up and shut up with the transphobia on here?

I am fully supportive of the LGBTQ community and don't feel it is my position to question or undermine those who believe they were born in the wrong body.

And yet i see literally hundreds of intolerant posts on here and say nothing. Probably because I'm worried about being shouted down.

This is part of the problem isn't it? I should speak up.

Does anybody else feel like this or is it just me?

If women have to accommodate and obey, why don't transwomen?

Well exactly

Jarnsaxa · 08/06/2019 23:14

Were not doing as we're told.

isabellerossignol · 08/06/2019 23:15

Oh no, us uppity women have been doing that wrongthink thing again.

'It's a beautiful thing, the destruction of words...'

Outofinspiration · 08/06/2019 23:15

I have no idea what LimeKiwi gets out of posting in this way. They have been doing it for months under various usernames. It's weird to say the least.

IvanaPee · 08/06/2019 23:16

@LimeKiwi how come you’re still posting but ignoring a pretty reasonable request for you to clarify what you mean when you post?

Trebe · 08/06/2019 23:16

Theclitteratti,

  1. Yes it is fully capable of using right wing tactics.
  1. No
  1. No thought or thinking has political necessity. However both sides do stop when something doesn't fit with them. Not always thank god.
TheClitterati · 08/06/2019 23:17

Right wing tactics?

IvanaPee · 08/06/2019 23:17

@ReapersHowler what on this thread is transphobic?

Rufusthebewilderedreindeer · 08/06/2019 23:17

Yes it is fully capable of using right wing tactics

And left wing ones I imagine

ghostyslovesheets · 08/06/2019 23:19

clitterartti ffs now owning a clit makes your views subject to derision 😂

Under his eye 😉

Trebe · 08/06/2019 23:19

Most definitely.

Rufusthebewilderedreindeer · 08/06/2019 23:21

I have no idea what a left wing tactic is or a right one

I just want to feel included in the conversation

LimeKiwi · 08/06/2019 23:21

WTAF is under his eye supposed to even mean lol, are we speaking in code now?

IvanaPee · 08/06/2019 23:22

@LimeKiwi are you going to answer? You’re capable of “lolling” at other poster’s comments but can’t answer a question?

LimeKiwi · 08/06/2019 23:23

What on this thread is transphobic
Oh give over. You're on the thread. As I said earlier, if you can't see, you can't see.
It reminds me of people spouting racist shite on here. They never see it either!
It's so bizarre.

TheClitterati · 08/06/2019 23:25

@Rufusthebewilderedreindeer I've been googling "right wing tactics" to see if I recognised any used by radfems - still none the wiser.

Organising meeting perhaps?

LimeKiwi · 08/06/2019 23:25

What did I lol at? You mean the asking what does under his eye mean?
That was a genuine question, it seems to have gone code like.

TheClitterati · 08/06/2019 23:26

Admit it @LimeKiwi you've no idea what you are on about!

sackrifice · 08/06/2019 23:27

You've already proven yourself a petty transphobic person. No matter what anyone says it won't be good enough for you. 100 years ago you would have been the person saying Gay people are wrong too.

What do you even mean, won't be 'good enough'?
What do you even mean 'transphobic'?
What are these things?

Why do you get to call me names because I have questions that you cannot answer?

Until men stop harassing, assaulting, raping and murdering women, that is when things will be 'good enough'.

ghostyslovesheets · 08/06/2019 23:27

I don’t tend to lol when asking a genuine question - just saying like

LimeKiwi · 08/06/2019 23:28

I was just genuinely curious as to what under his eye was even supposed to mean.

Trebe · 08/06/2019 23:29

I suppose by right wing tactics I mean stopping people from expressing differing opinions. Some radical feminists have gone to mens rights talks and protested that they shouldn't be allowed to even have these discussions. Other stuff to, but I'd consider that a right wing tactic.

CantspellWontspell · 08/06/2019 23:30

You mean the asking what does under his eye mean?

It's a quote from The Handmaid's Tale. They are compelled to use certain religious language regardless of their personal beliefs.

Some of us feel this is analogous to what is happening regarding compelled speech around gender ideology.

Rufusthebewilderedreindeer · 08/06/2019 23:31

I suppose by right wing tactics I mean stopping people from expressing differing opinions

Left wing do that as well though

isabellerossignol · 08/06/2019 23:31

Here is what transphobia means to me. I would consider it transphobic if someone said that transwomen should die in a fire, they should be sacked from their jobs, they shouldn't be allowed to rent a house, or stay in a hotel or whatever. You know, the normal things that people do.

What I don't consider to be transphobic is saying that transwomen are born male and will die male. Because that's science.

I don't consider it transphobic to say that believing yourself to be something that you clearly are not (i.e. the opposite sex) is a delusion and therefore surely by definition it is a psychological problem, not a physical one.
