*I guess that poor bloke has been 'failed by the state' too
No, he'll just be a nasty violent man.

kidsmakesomuchwashing · 09/06/2019 00:51

How do you get a baby into a nightclub? I'm thinking that "nightclub" might not be exactly correct - perhaps it was one of those club house things on holiday sites? If not, I'm genuinely baffled as to how a baby got into a nightclub.

SD1978 · 09/06/2019 00:54

Many failures here- her, her sister, the bar staff, the nightclub- she has to live with this for the rest of her life- that's the worst punishment. Will also be publicly punished for life- it's not like she went out drinking and left the baby behind whilst in a 'naice' resort. Then it would have been a tragedy..........

Mississippilessly · 09/06/2019 08:59

Oh ffs.
Why do the McCanns come up on every bloody thread? How can you even suggest these are comparable? The McCanns took a calculated risk. Clearly they were wrong to do so. Clearly they know that. Cleslry they will spend the rest of their lives tortured by it. And yes I do feel sorry for them, because we all take calictard risks every day. I'm not saying everyone would have done the same as they did but we all do things that have an element of risk.
This woman risked her son time and time again but was also wilfully negligent.

I feel like MN is a parallel universe sometimes.

Awwlookatmybabyspider · 09/06/2019 09:15

Who's mentioned the McCanns.Confused

EmeraldRubyShark · 09/06/2019 09:18

I gotta admit I never saw the McCanns mentioned either...

Mississippilessly can you quote the post you’re referring to please?

Butchyrestingface · 09/06/2019 09:30

Yes, curious about that. As far as I can see, the only poster who mentioned that family is Mississippilessly. Confused

ILoveMaxiBondi · 09/06/2019 09:32

This^ is an underhanded McCann reference.

Butchyrestingface · 09/06/2019 09:35

This^ is an underhanded McCann reference.

Oy vey, looks like it slipped by unnoticed until someone brought explicit attention to it.

The two things are definitely not comparable.

CitadelsofScience · 09/06/2019 09:36

I think SD was saying it like it was the McCanns, or at least that's how I read it.

Newschapter · 09/06/2019 10:40

@Ivy44

I’m judging. What kind of animal takes a 4 year old somewhere that noisy, throws him in the air. The poor little boy must have been terrified. Then gets so blind drunk that she is incapable of tending to him and passes out on top of him. Horrific, but she is to blame.

The baby was four weeks old, not four years old.

Poor little soul

Ivy44 · 09/06/2019 11:02

@news
Yes I’m aware of that, it’s a typo.

Mississippilessly · 09/06/2019 11:40

@Butchyrestingface it didnt slip by unnoticed. I was the next poster who commented. Confused

And apology accepted for accusing me of bringing up the McCanns completely out of the blue.

Butchyrestingface · 09/06/2019 11:44

I didn’t accuse you of bringing it up out of the blue. And I was far from the only one who missed it.

But do keep the theme going. Hmm

Mississippilessly · 09/06/2019 11:45

Oh ffs.
Have it your way.

m4rdybum · 09/06/2019 12:41

I thought this thread was gonna be about the bloke just convicted of giving a baby a spin dry. Sounds like he and this woman would be well suited.

Oh my God that's awful. Sod castration/sterilisation - kill them.

Butchyrestingface · 09/06/2019 12:48

Oh my God that's awful. Sod castration/sterilisation - kill them.

I don’t think he’s been sentenced yet. As well as the inevitable skull fractures, the baby had bite marks. Difficult to see how she acquired those from a spin in the dryer.

wotsittoyou · 09/06/2019 12:55

They weren't on holiday - they live in the area. They went back to the men's caravan with them to carry on drinking and God knows what the fuck else.

Bluebluered · 09/06/2019 13:05

I read this yesterday and couldn’t believe it. I will absolutely judge this bitch. People like this won’t ever feel remorse though. You just need to look at baby P’s biological birther (refuse to call her a mother). I bet in a few years she’ll be out and partying, getting pregnant again. Will probably use this story for notoriety.

Dexterslockedintheshedagain · 09/06/2019 13:15

She'll get what's coming to her in prison. There's a certain code of ethics in there about child cruelty.....

DarkAtEndOfTunnel · 09/06/2019 18:16

She'll get what's coming to her in prison. There's a certain code of ethics in there about child cruelty.....

I don't think that that's called for, or appropriate.

InTheHeatofLisbon · 09/06/2019 18:20

She didn't, there were further assaults on subsequent occasions. The mother witnessed the dryer incident, yet left her child with that scumbag on two further occasions.

The "mother" in the OP is vile. As is everyone who saw what she was doing and didn't act to protect that poor wee soul.

She'll have to live with it aye, but she took that chance from her boy. He doesn't get to live with anything, because he's dead.

InTheHeatofLisbon · 09/06/2019 18:22

It was a statement of fact. Expect to see an article about her having sugary boiling water chucked over her in the next few weeks.

Is it right? No.

Do I give a shit about a woman who does that to her child? Not even slightly.

I wouldn't advocate it, but I wouldn't lose sleep over it either.

Ffsnosexallowed · 09/06/2019 18:28

This is one of those rare occasions where it's perfectly legitimate to judge her. She was a shit parent. Poor poor baby.

Dexterslockedintheshedagain · 09/06/2019 18:35

Why not called for? Why not appropriate? Just because it offends your sensibilities doesn't mean it won't happen. I was merely stating a fact. Not necessarily a wish.
