There aren’t really words to describe how sickened I am by this. In the city I’m proud to live in, in the middle of fucking Pride month, two women have been beaten up because they didn’t want to put on a show for some disgusting men.

That is utterly disgusting.

Manclife1 · 07/06/2019 12:05

Not BU at all! They’re fucking idiots and need jailing for a long long time!

dottyboxes · 07/06/2019 12:06

This is fucking vile.

When I was at uni the student nightclub would give you a free bottle of wine as a woman if you missed another woman.

dottyboxes · 07/06/2019 12:06

Kissed, not missed.

Fishywife · 07/06/2019 12:07

Really hope they catch the men. The article made it sound like they got away.

kaytee87 · 07/06/2019 12:08

Bastards!!

Zoeputthatdown · 07/06/2019 12:09

I hope these men are traced and caught.
Sickening.

AdoraBell · 07/06/2019 12:11

Disgusting. I hope they are identified by CCTV, then made to kiss each other for someone else’s entertainment 😡

BeyondOverTheMoon · 07/06/2019 12:12

This is what happens when women (and therefore lesbians too) are viewed as being here purely to service men. Porn is a large factor here.

HelenRivington · 07/06/2019 12:12

Surely there is cctv? Don’t all buses have them?

AdoraBell · 07/06/2019 12:13

And jailed, sorry I missed that off my first post.

RosemarysBush · 07/06/2019 12:14

Horrific

StealthPolarBear · 07/06/2019 12:16

Bloody hell. Glad they were brave enough to release that picture, obviously the verbal abuse isn't acceptable but the physical violence might stick in people's minds.
Although they're lesbians aren't they, and I assume those that were assigned female at birth. So maybe no one will really care.

janetforpresident · 07/06/2019 12:18

Terrifying. Poor women

AngeloMysterioso · 07/06/2019 12:20

London buses normally have CCTV, and hopefully the attackers can be traced through their oyster/payment cards.

It’s Pride month. It’s London. I thought we were past this shit.

I think this was sexism rather than homophobia. This was women not doing as they were told.

Awwlookatmybabyspider · 07/06/2019 12:23

I've just read about that. If it up me I'd lock them up for at at least 15 years and I mean 15 years (none of this third knocked off sentence)
in a cell with a 6ft tall 6ft wide body builder. It'd be interesting to see how "big hard and brave" they are then.

QueenBlueberries · 07/06/2019 12:24

I don't get this at all. Where the fuck was the bus driver? they have mirrors and cameras to watch what's going on upstairs and the gang harassed the two women for a significant amount of time before the physical attack.

MissMogwai · 07/06/2019 12:25

Disgusting. Good for them for speaking out.

Hopefully these absolute scumbags will be caught and held accountable.

Dragongirl10 · 07/06/2019 12:27

Bastards, they deserve to be locked up for a very, very long time.
This is why we have to challenge all sexism as men seem to think women are only there for their enjoyment.

LakieLady · 07/06/2019 12:30

Vile cunts. I hope they catch them, convict them and sentence them to the max as this is a clear hate crime.

BasilFaulty · 07/06/2019 12:30

I think I agree with @stealthpolarbear
Women not bending to the wills of men's sexual fantasies. It obviously is homophobic as well, although I feel it would be more so if they had, say, got on the bus holding hands, and then got attacked. This was the opposite - they sexualised them and attacked them when they refused.
Bloody horrible either way. They're talking about it on LBC at the moment.

littlepeas · 07/06/2019 12:32

Really shocking and sickening. I hope the men are caught.

thenightsky · 07/06/2019 12:33

Another day, another incident of male violence Sad

Aquilla · 07/06/2019 12:34

It's Pride month. It's London. I thought we were past this shit.

It's London. You wanted it to be 'hip, woke, and diverse', remember?

Do you really think it's going to get better? It's all down hill from here I'm afraid!

Being openly gay in London will soon be like being openly Jewish in Paris.
