Is Donald Trump ill? Otherwise what would explain such imbecility?

Has he missed some 💊 on his international flight? Who visits someone and promptly pisses on the doorstep? His comments about Sadiq Khan are beyond disgraceful. Disgusting creature.

Lot of chat on Twitter about whether Trump is in early stage of dementia or whether it's due to his fondness for Adderall. Several recent clips of him slurring his words.

I don’t mind people insulting Sadiq Khan. He’s been a terrible mayor for London.

JanMeyer · 03/06/2019 12:19

*There is definitely something wrong with him, and some/ all of his children.

It can't all be written off as privilege.

He hits out at the most imaginary slight, and can not see anyone else's point of view. It's odd, and terrifying.*

Why can't be written off as privilege? Why do you think autism is a more likely explanation for his offensive behaviour and views? Surely being super rich and being used to people pandering to his every whim plays a significant part in it.
And how do you know there's something wrong with some/all of his children? Are you privy to information the rest of us aren't? Or are you referring to the disgusting public speculation about whether his youngest son is autistic? (Note - disgusting because it's the child's private medical information, not because there's anything wrong with being autistic). And even if one of his kids was autistic, doesn't mean Trump is.
If you really do have autistic children then it just makes your comment even more disgusting. So you'd have no complaints then if I assumed your autistic kids were badly behaved bullies because they have autism? Because according to you that logic is fine.

People actually think its normal for a president to behave like this.

They actually think its good.

Mind-blowing.

Thallo · 03/06/2019 12:21

Trump is a grifter whose main concern is Trump. Anyone who thinks toadying up to him will result in a favourable deal for the UK must have come down in the last shower. It’s embarrassing.

Lweji · 03/06/2019 12:22

Lot of chat on Twitter about whether Trump is in early stage of dementia or whether it's due to his fondness for Adderall.

And he sniffs a lot too at times. As if he had needed to sniff something...

Idontwanttotalk · 03/06/2019 12:22

Notabedofroses said : "We work in London and Sadiq is the worst mayor we have ever had. He IS totally useless and incompetent."

Maybe Trump was just stating facts in response to Khan's comments. I do think he is rude and to the point of laughable although I can't help liking the fact that someone out there in the world of politics tells it as he sees it. Some of his views may be abhorrent but his forthrightness is refreshing at the same time.

I would love it if all politicians were more honest and open but not to the point of rudeness.

Helmetbymidnight · 03/06/2019 12:22

People actually think its normal to be recorded as saying a young new member of another country's' royal family as 'nasty' and then to outright lie and deny it.

They do. They really do think that's normal or nice behaviour.

They think that Sadiq Khan is just the same.

It's incredible.

ADropofReality · 03/06/2019 12:22

Cet animal est très méchant: Quand on l'attaque, il se défend.

tomtom1999xx · 03/06/2019 12:24

Sadiq Khan is no angel and is a complete embarrassment tbh.

ADropofReality · 03/06/2019 12:24

It's not an insult to call DT a fascist, he's channelling Mussolini constantly.

Yes, it is a fucking insult to call the President of the United States and leader of the free world a fascist. Pretty fucking obviously it is an insult.

It's not Khans decision whether or not the balloon flies.

Yes, it was his decision.

Thallo · 03/06/2019 12:24

I can't help liking the fact that someone out there in the world of politics tells it as he sees it. Some of his views may be abhorrent but his forthrightness is refreshing at the same time.

^^

Bullshit like this, finding Trump 'refreshing' is the problem.

Lweji · 03/06/2019 12:25

And, actually, Trump did attack first.

All that nonsense about Farage in charge and no deal Brexit.

He's been attacking people in the most idiotic and insulting ways since he started his campaign. And before (see Obama and not being born in the US).

ChardonnaysPrettySister · 03/06/2019 12:25

Urgh. How are they 'as bad as each other' Fgs?

They are both behaving like toddlers, in this particular instance.

I'm not getting into a discussion about the merits of Khan as a Mayor, but to say I was disappointed would be an understatement.

PigletJohn · 03/06/2019 12:26

"didn't Khan start with the insults first?"

It was Buffoon Boris, actually.

Lweji · 03/06/2019 12:26

Yes, it is a fucking insult to call the President of the United States and leader of the free world a fascist. Pretty fucking obviously it is an insult.

Only if it wasn't true.

BertrandRussell · 03/06/2019 12:26

What does Khan do or not do that makes him such a bad Mayor?

The balloon was his decision from a planning point of view. Not allowing it would have been a political act.

Whosorrynow · 03/06/2019 12:27

nothing honest about trump he's a vile slippery grifter

Thallo · 03/06/2019 12:27

Yes, it is a fucking insult to call the President of the United States and leader of the free world a fascist. Pretty fucking obviously it is an insult.

Well if he finds it insulting he should stop displaying fascist tendencies. Stop lionising Kim Jong-un, stop demonising minorities, stop surrounding himself with white supremacists. It's quite simple.

Lweji · 03/06/2019 12:28

I would love it if all politicians were more honest and open

In that case, you don't like Trump, the king of falsehoods and shutting the press down.

PigletJohn · 03/06/2019 12:28

Helmetbymidnight · 03/06/2019 12:29

People actually think that it's excellent that Trump had a go at the mayor of an allied country within hours of our suffering a terrorist attack.

I mean, people really do think that's appropriate behaviour from a president.

They really do think that's fine. It's incredible.

ADropofReality · 03/06/2019 12:30

Only if it wasn't true.

No, it isn't true.

Well if he finds it insulting he should stop displaying fascist tendencies. Stop lionising Kim Jong-un, stop demonising minorities, stop surrounding himself with white supremacists. It's quite simple.

The three supposedly fascist tendencies you impute to Trump aren't true.

Lweji · 03/06/2019 12:30

It could be "people". Or it could be posters who are supposed to stick up for certain leaders as per contract.
