Is Donald Trump ill? Otherwise what would explain such imbecility?

Has he missed some 💊 on his international flight? Who visits someone and promptly pisses on the doorstep? His comments about Sadiq Khan are beyond disgraceful. Disgusting creature.

Greetings Earthlings!!!

Is Donald Trump ill? Otherwise what would explain such imbecility?
Lweji · 03/06/2019 11:45

I thought it was usually the case that they land in less busy airports.
I've checked. Obama also went to Stansted, and Bush caused major disruption in Heathrow.

tenredthings · 03/06/2019 11:45

He does it intentionally for the attention.. he's a narcissistic idiot, but he's playing us all. He doesn't give a shit if the focus is positive or negative so long as we are all talking about him. Thankfully he looks really unhealthy and unsteady and won't go on too much longer.

Notabedofroses · 03/06/2019 11:45

I am not a massive fan of trumps, but he is the leader of the US, and really I wish people would just grow up!! Completely embarrassing to have silly balloons and the mayor tweeting insults. We are adults people!

We work in London and Sadiq is the worst mayor we have ever had. He IS totally useless and incompetent.

Genevieva · 03/06/2019 11:46

I thought he said it before he set off, not when he arrived. It was a retort to Khan's comment. Both comments were deeply immature. Both men are elected and should set a better example, but I am particularly disappointed by Khan. Trump is known for these sort of comments. He made them before he was elected into one of the most powerful positions in the world. Khan is not known for this and I would hope that our own country's representatives would have the basic good manners and professionalism to put the national interest ahead of the desire to score points with cheap jibes.

Neolara · 03/06/2019 11:49

I thought Khan's response was pretty measured. He's making a serious political point. Given the horrors that nationalism has inflicted on the world in the past, we should all be concerned about where right ring populism can lead.

Unshriven · 03/06/2019 11:51

BethMaddison you might think it offensive.

But I have two autistic children, I can see how with Trump's money, upbringing and syncophants, their outlook could be moulded to his.

There is definitely something wrong with him, and some/ all of his children.

It can't all be written off as privilege.

He hits out at the most imaginary slight, and can not see anyone else's point of view. It's odd, and terrifying.

noblegiraffe · 03/06/2019 11:51

Trump had a spat with Boris over no-go areas in London. BJ said he was unfit to be President. Someone's projected this on the Elizabeth Tower.

That would be the wonderful Led By Donkeys. Video here:

dreamyspires · 03/06/2019 11:52

Trump and Khan are both vile men so both deserving of insults.

SoupDragon · 03/06/2019 11:53

He's not ill, he's just a racist, misogynistic imbecile.

Is there any chance they'll give Prince Phillip his driving license back?

SoupDragon · 03/06/2019 11:55

That would be the wonderful Led By Donkeys. Video here:

I generally dislike Boris and think he is a buffoon but I admire him for everything he said there! 😂😂 Even if he'd probably like to forget about it.

Etino · 03/06/2019 11:57

@Notabedofroses
Khan is an excellent Mayor! Good prescience, meaningful transport policy. What can you point to on his watch and say ‘he failed there.’?

Whosorrynow · 03/06/2019 11:59

Boris's buffoonery is strategic
Trump is talented when it comes to marketing himself, but he doesn't have the intellect to fully leverage his talents.

Lweji · 03/06/2019 12:00

Both comments were deeply immature.

Did you read what Khan said?
Do you think it's immature to point out fascist speech and behaviour? Hmm

Whosorrynow · 03/06/2019 12:05

Trump is unfit to hold the office of president, but don't worry he is working to reduce America to the kind of 'shithole' to which he is fitted

Patroclus · 03/06/2019 12:08

Melania is definitely trying to send out some coded call for help in that photo

QueenKubauOfKish · 03/06/2019 12:08

In some of the medical info I've read about autism, I have seen it said that narcissism and autism can have some things in common, particularly a self-centred view of the world and lack of empathy. That doesn't mean all autistic people have those things but it kind of makes sense that there are some overlaps.

I think it's more likely though that Trump is a narcissist and possible psychopath.

SeamstressfromTreacleMineRoad · 03/06/2019 12:08

I'm with Lweji on this. Trump is a terrifying example of right-wing ignorance allied to a huge ego and alley-rat morals...!Angry

BethMaddison · 03/06/2019 12:09

I also have children with asd

Helmetbymidnight · 03/06/2019 12:10

Urgh. How are they 'as bad as each other' Fgs?

Thymeout · 03/06/2019 12:13

Sadiq is making a serious point about the rise of right-wing nationalism. Trump is just resorting to playground insults, calling him short, dumb and a stone-cold loser.

He wouldn't be having a state visit at all if May hadn't demeaned us all by sucking up to him before he'd been in the White House 10 minutes. Merkel's response to his election was far superior, reminding him of Western values.

Trump disapproves of NATO and the EU. There is no chance whatsoever that a Trump trade deal will be in our national interest. Regarding security, Trump is Leaker in Chief who wanted Bannon to be in the Situation Room and boasted to Putin with information that compromised Mossad. GCHQ and the other 5 eyes have already distanced themselves from him.

Helmetbymidnight · 03/06/2019 12:13

I love this video of Trump.

BillGiggeloe · 03/06/2019 12:16

No red carpet at Stansted...subtle burn there, well done.

Helmetbymidnight · 03/06/2019 12:16

There is no chance whatsoever that a Trump trade deal will be in our national interest.

I find it really interesting that there are still people who genuinely seem to believe that us having a no deal Brexit will lead to us getting super, advantageous trade deals with America. I mean, what is their logic here?

Ooh, when the country is on its knees, America will have to give us really great trade deals.

??

Can any Brexiteers help me out here?

Shinesweetfreedom · 03/06/2019 12:18

I thought the mayor started it by with the slagging off.Shouldnt the mayor be more concerned with sorting out knife crime on his patch than slagging off a visitor.
