Is Donald Trump ill? Otherwise what would explain such imbecility?

Has he missed some 💊 on his international flight? Who visits someone and promptly pisses on the doorstep? His comments about Sadiq Khan are beyond disgraceful. Disgusting creature.

What laughable twats we must look! Unable to curb knife crime, unable to negotiate Brexit but we can float a balloon. Hooray!

From the outside of the UK, the baloon is the only saving grace these days. Wink

Lweji · 03/06/2019 21:35

Could I fly a balloon of a giant arse shitting out a Khan shaped turd?

That wouldn't make you seem 17 at all. More like 7. No offense to children 7 years of age.

fromsheffieldtobrighton · 03/06/2019 21:37

He is a political no-body on the world stage but to the BBC, he is a political somebody which is how the ridiculous situation where he is treated as an equal of the President of the United States-whoever might be holding that office-arises.

Khan is a slimy, sly shitbag who does nothing about the problems on his own patch probably because that wouldn't get his vulpine little face beamed across the world.

He has no time to be thinking about Trump, he should be doing his fucking job. he doesn't and, instead of keeping his head down, he shamelessly lifts it up. All to get his gob on international media.

Do your job, Khan, before you start worrying about politicians from other countries. despicable.

fromsheffieldtobrighton · 03/06/2019 21:38

@Lweji...that's my point!

limitedperiodonly · 03/06/2019 21:40

fromsheffieldtobrighton you are being ridiculous. Victoria Derbyshire is a formidable inerviewer and she demolished Esther McVey today. They only thing I'd say in McVey's defence is that she stuck at it but I bet she went off and cried in the toilets.

Lweji · 03/06/2019 21:41

Interesting. Why should Trump be thinking of Khan instead of doing his job?

BTW, Khan is doing his job when he stands up for leaders that support or implement far right politics. More to the point, fascist like politics.
It's not (only) about Trump as a person. It's about all the other similar (but less imbecile) leaders and the rise of the far right.
It's every moderate politician's duty to rally against extremists.

Dewdew · 03/06/2019 21:48

Any idea why Khan attracts this level of vitriol? I know knife crime has gone back up to the level it used to be 10 years ago, but that seems to be a national problem not confined to London.

BertrandRussell · 03/06/2019 21:50

“Any idea why Khan attracts this level of vitriol?”

I can’t begin to imagine! Grin

GhostofFrankGrimes · 03/06/2019 21:50

Any idea why Khan attracts this level of vitriol?

I could take a wild guess...

Lweji · 03/06/2019 21:51

Is the vitriol even real?

limitedperiodonly · 03/06/2019 21:52

London is one of the world's leading cities. Why shouldn't our mayor express his views?

Lweji · 03/06/2019 21:54

If Khan is a nobody, why is Trump even bovvered?

lljkk · 03/06/2019 21:54

If criticism comes from an individual rather than large crowds then the criticism loses most of its legitimacy in ChumpWorld. Russian Trolls want to cast doubt by targetting an individual (Khan) as the bad influence instigator, rather than acknowledge the grassroots disapproval felt by & gleeful mockery supported by large numbers of protestors.

fromsheffieldtobrighton · 03/06/2019 22:00

Oh dear!

You don't need to take a wild guess or do you think his record on knife crime, making the city green, homelessness are all something to be praised, ignored or, at best, explained away.

. Maybe I could take a wild guess as to why this dodgy individual is excused these things. I think I might be right as well.

Isatis · 03/06/2019 22:07

Khan is a mayor, not a world stage politician of by any stretch of the imagination. I'm amazed Trump even knew who he was

There writes someone with zero knowledge of the nature of the Mayoralty of one of the major world capital cities.

limitedperiodonly · 03/06/2019 22:20

I live in London. I like Sadiq Khan. I will vote for him again

dreamyspires · 03/06/2019 22:22

“Any idea why Khan attracts this level of vitriol?”

I presume you mean people are being Islamaphobe, so so predictable, anyone who’s muslim just cannot be criticised without the same old accusation. It’s funny that Obama didn’t get anything like the vitriol that Trump gets, so that totally disproves your point.

Lweji · 03/06/2019 22:26

It’s funny that Obama didn’t get anything like the vitriol that Trump gets, so that totally disproves your point.

WTF?
Obama did attract a huge amount of vitriol in the US. Not the least by a certain Donald J. Trump.
Obama was intelligent, articulate, kind, knowledgeable, a gentleman.
Trump... well... is none of the above. Plus he has vitriol for anyone who doesn't love him or who challenges him in any way. He is vritriol.

PerkingFaintly · 03/06/2019 22:28

Back to Trump...

He has a long history of failing to honour business deals.

It looks like it's actually his business model to say one thing while signing a deal, and another when it comes to paying up.

USA TODAY exclusive: Hundreds allege Donald Trump doesn’t pay his bills
eu.usatoday.com/story/news/politics/elections/2016/06/09/donald-trump-unpaid-bills-republican-president-laswuits/85297274/

I sold Trump $100,000. Then he stiffed me
www.washingtonpost.com/posteverything/wp/2016/09/28/i-sold-trump-100000-worth-of-pianos-then-he-stiffed-me/

Not a guy you want to do business with – including political business.

Koolbeans · 03/06/2019 22:29

Trump is absolutely disgusting, there really are no redeeming features.

Koolbeans · 03/06/2019 22:31

He has no principles what so ever. He just cares about himself and himself only. I don't know how people can defend him.

PigletJohn · 03/06/2019 22:31

Obama got sneered at by Buffoon johnson, who thought his message should be disregarded because of part-Kenyan descent.

Trump sneers at Khan.

Maybe fat, blond politicians don't like people whose skin colour is not light orange.

Dewdew · 03/06/2019 22:35

Obama attacked huge amounts of vitriol, and a lot of it based on the colour of his skin.

And as for double standards:

Wait, on second reading, is this yet another 'Obama is a Muslim' assertion? Ffs

dreamyspires · 03/06/2019 22:37

Lweji I was making the point that Obama didn’t get anything like the huge vitriol that Trump gets, because as you say all those qualities you mentioned. Are you trying to make out I think the vitriol against Trump is unfair? On the contrary, Trump is vile, Obama was decent. I mentioned it because someone implied Khan is hated because of his colour. My analogy proves different. I thought my post was quite clear. Confused
