Is Donald Trump ill? Otherwise what would explain such imbecility?

Has he missed some 💊 on his international flight? Who visits someone and promptly pisses on the doorstep? His comments about Sadiq Khan are beyond disgraceful. Disgusting creature.

It sums up the situation though doesn't it?

Dewdew · 03/06/2019 20:49

Pro-trumpers flew a Sadie Khan balloon at their demo during the last visit. I assume they had permission for that. And yet the whinging goes on.

PerkingFaintly · 03/06/2019 20:50

Yep, if you felt so minded. Although I suppose the nakedness or scatology might cause a problem re outraging public decency or something.

Are you genuinely unaware of the balloon of Khan in a bikini that some protestors flew?

While claiming to know all these things about Khan and his history and what he finds amusing?

Dewdew · 03/06/2019 20:51

Eugh despise the man 😫

fromsheffieldtobrighton · 03/06/2019 21:02

I am unaware of that Khan balloon and do you know why that is?

It's because it wasn't on every news show that one turned on.

That balloon-or a life sized model of it showing Trump was displayed in the BBC news studio with Victoria Derbyshire this morning, while she conducted her flab hitting biased interview.

I'm sure that as the BBC are so unbiased they had the Khan balloon there too-same size, same length of time- but I didn't see it.

Did they? I'd be amazed if you can answer yes.

So the Khan balloon wasn't displayed so often on the news-if at all=- and the BBC had the Trump one there-in the studio for 10 minutes.

That's why many of us are unaware of this Khan balloon.

limitedperiodonly · 03/06/2019 21:04

Look at that cloudless blue sky

GhostofFrankGrimes · 03/06/2019 21:04

Tens of thousands turned up to protest Trump last year. One man and his dog turned up to the Khan balloon. Which one do you think is more newsworthy?

fromsheffieldtobrighton · 03/06/2019 21:05

@limitedperiodonly.

What laughable twats we must look! Unable to curb knife crime, unable to negotiate Brexit but we can float a balloon. Hooray!

fromsheffieldtobrighton · 03/06/2019 21:06

@Ghost.

Do you think if the Khan balloon had been more widely publicised, more would have turned up?

Do you think that's why it wasn't publicised?

Do you think there might be a link there?

Dewdew · 03/06/2019 21:07

The Khan balloon certainly had significant coverage at the time and was also mentioned on the BBC website today. Of course, the Trump balloon had more coverage because the anti-Trump protests were much more widely attended.

lljkk · 03/06/2019 21:08

Khan doesn't view self as too important for political parody. So he doesn't make the parody into drama.

Chump makes everything about himself into extra drama; like a little brat, any attention is great attention that he tries to seize control of it.

GhostofFrankGrimes · 03/06/2019 21:09

Do you think that's why it wasn't publicised?

Its not the medias job to publicise. They report the news. An American president in the UK greeted by thousands of protestors is newsworthy. Some bloke flying a kite on the Thames. Not so much.

Dewdew · 03/06/2019 21:10

Funny that lots of people on this thread were fully aware of the Khan balloon, just not the one poster frothing hardest about it.

PerkingFaintly · 03/06/2019 21:11

And yet, here you are, repeating all sorts of crap about Khan from sites you read, fromsheffieldtobrighton*.

I saw the coverage of both balloons at the time – probably on the BBC.

PerkingFaintly · 03/06/2019 21:15

Yes, I noticed that, Dewdew.

Happy in their own little bubble...

limitedperiodonly · 03/06/2019 21:17

Get it right fromsheffieldtobrighton

Victoria Derbyshire didn't focus on President Trump this morning. Instead she demolished Esther McVey's candidature for the Tory party leadership in a devastating 20-minute interview that made me wince.

I think it was probably personal but I don't care.

hilbobaggins · 03/06/2019 21:18

Its not the medias job to publicise. They report the news.

Oh my goodness, do you really believe this?

I thought everyone had seen through that one some time ago.

fromsheffieldtobrighton · 03/06/2019 21:24

Report the News...The BBC.. yeah and the band played on!

What a load of steaming bollocks!

Victoria Derbyshire couldn't demolish a blancmange using her teeth tied to a sledgehammer but she likes to think she can...that's why she's perfected that sneer.

In the absence of any interviewing skill, that must be roped in to do instead. I don't blame her...use what you've got, girl!

NeverEverAnythingEver · 03/06/2019 21:25

Come on. Surely one cannot claim that Khan is a political nobody, and then complained that his balloon doesn't get as much coverage as Trump's.

Dewdew · 03/06/2019 21:30

Keep up, NeverEver, we're on to whinging about the Fake BBC News now.

Dewdew · 03/06/2019 21:32

(Even though that's where we all heard about the Khan balloon that no one has ever heard about).
