Definitely reminds me of late 80s top of the pops and smash hits magazine. Lots of patterns like that in that era!

MTV is also doing a 'rewind' season at the moment and it has a bit like this on the advert for it!!

TheInventorofToasterStreudel · 31/05/2019 22:39

It's the backdrop for the first part of the "Fresh Prince of Bel Air" opening credits. The black thing at the bottom is Will Smith's flat top

Haggisfish · 31/05/2019 22:39

Tammy girl?

DanielRicciardosSmile · 31/05/2019 22:39

@Spudlet I remember that advert!

Captaindobbin · 31/05/2019 22:39

Fun house? Blind date?

Floopily · 31/05/2019 22:39

burntsausage I also immediately thought of Roland Rat but I don't know why

JaynePoole · 31/05/2019 22:43

Relieved I saw the answer before having to try to sleep!

TheInventorofToasterStreudel · 31/05/2019 22:43

No actually isn't! ignore me!

jarhead123 · 31/05/2019 22:43

Saved by the Bell

Drogosnextwife · 31/05/2019 22:44

@TheInventorofToasterStreudel

Thats exactly what I thought but I can't find it on YouTube!

augustusglupe · 31/05/2019 22:45

I think it’s something 80s, is it an album cover?

Pinkprincess1978 · 31/05/2019 22:45

A friend sent me this earlier saying her friend is in the audience of the late late show in Ireland and been told this is album cover....

SimulationTheorist · 31/05/2019 22:46

Definitely not Fresh Prince.

augustusglupe · 31/05/2019 22:47

It’s driving me mad, it looks so familiar!!

Twotome · 31/05/2019 22:47

Perhaps it is just a common print. If nothing else, I have loved being reminded of all my favourite childhood shows. Feeling very nostalgic! Grin

Daniel Thank goodness I hadn't imagined it!

I am getting a sanpro vibe though. Maybe it was on some kind of 'having oeriods is great fun' leaflet they gave out at school?

Ooh, or extra hold hair gel?!

jarhead123 · 31/05/2019 22:49

Driving me mad now!

FunkyBarnYardBroom · 31/05/2019 22:50

Junior filofax

Pythonesque · 31/05/2019 22:51

I'd go with the "common print" theory to be honest - it has a feeling of familiarity to me too, and not only did I not watch TOTP or anything like that, I wasn't even in the UK in the 80s! (grew up in Australia)

Spudlet · 31/05/2019 22:51

Showed dh, he reckons Saved by the Bell. That's not it, but at least it's driving him bonkers now as well Grin

Ginmere · 31/05/2019 22:51

As soon as I saw that I thought New Order? One of their videos with the Weimaraner dog?

lemonpiesz · 31/05/2019 22:52

I agree with the previous poster who said it's off an album (or possibly single) cover from the 80's. Can't for the life of me work out which one though. I was thinking Duran Duran, but a quick google doesn't show it. Pretty sure it's something along those lines though.

MintCassis · 31/05/2019 22:54

I thought perhaps it was from Dream Phone or Fashion Wheel but just checked and it’s not that Confused

Jennie1978 · 31/05/2019 22:54

I was convinced this was something to do with the ‘Wide Awake Club’. Just been suckered into the YouTube black hole of 80/90s kids tv!

enjoyingscience · 31/05/2019 22:55

It’s every shell suit I ever owned.
