It's definitely 80s/90s, I've got Smash Hits in my head, DH thought Going Live but can't find it on a Google search for either.

Apparently it’s from a skateboard OP but with a pattern that was on loads of things throughout the 80s and 90s

It is the Memphis style of Graphic Design, very 90s, lots similar in style which is why we all think we know it.

It looks a bit like the something from Top of the Pops in the 80/early 90s. Or the graphics from one of the 'Now' or Hits albums I had. Very familiar!

Is it off a tv show called Zzzap? It’s what immediately came into my head (I remembered the cartoon sketches but I showed my husband and he immediately said zzzap which corresponds with what I was thinking)
