I have heard men say before that women who wear leggings want you to look at their arses. Blshit of course. Anyone who's seen me in leggings definitely wouldn't think they r sexy

I am wearing jeans now. Wear leggings under work trousers in the winter.

Agree it is Mum uniform. I’d prefer to wear tights but I’m breastfeeding so need the leggings/ strappy top with dress to lift up combo.

Leggings and dresses are usually only worn by people over 40 or people who can’t wear dresses without chub rub. It is a bit dated and frumpy (doesn’t stop me doing it though) .

99% of the time leggings do not look sexy but they are very comfortable so I can understand why they are popular

IME women tend to wear them on days they just want to relax or get on with boring household tasks, gardening, dog walking etc. I don't know any women who would choose them for a night or day out when they were hoping to look their best

Love leggings. And lucy lockers are the dogs whatsits. Currently the proud owner of 7 pairs of activewear, 2 pairs of casual wear and 2 pairs of pj bottoms.

Also have another 2 pairs of casual wear in my basket and the whole purpose of those is to be worn under long/floaty tops during my upcoming holiday 👍🏻

I wear them because I am too fat to wear the things I would like to wear. And post section other trousers are incredibly uncomfortable even 2 years later.

I wear leggings because they're the only things that fit me at the moment, and I can't afford to buy new clothes

I wear them because
1- most dresses are too short for my taste without them
2 - even if I had the legs for leggings-free minis, I have some horrendous scars on my legs and like to keep them hidden

@fizz I’ve worn them for both days and nights out. Comfy as and paired with appropriate top/footwear they look good.

I AM over 47 I AM chubby/fat and I would much rather be comfy than fucking sexy. BTW I AM sexy in my own size 22 way so my DP tells me I am so far past what others think it's all about me these days

Blimey the thought of anyone thinking I wear leggings (and i do religiously) because I think they look sexy is hilarious and disturbing at the same time!! Always disappointed when I realise they are all in the wash and I have to wear the inferior comfort of jeans

I've never known one man who thinks they're sexy. They're like the opposite of sexy and on most people -especially me- look bloody awful.

My partner, who is very approving of women walking around semi-naked, thinks leggings are the unsexiest and shittest things ever. Luckily he doesn't go around sharing this opinion with random women wearing leggings or he'd get a (deserved eye roll or slap).

I wear mine with long line t-shirts, oversized men's shirts or tunic tops - so you can't see my arse at all.

I live in leggings - cheap, comfy, practical. Couldn't give a shit about whether they look fashionable or not, but then I dress for my own comfort and happiness rather than what the trends of the day are.

I wear leggings because I can't fit my far arse into jeans if someone finds those links sexy, well, more fool them.

Some leggings are sexy but I think you need to be seriously toned to pull off that look.

Yes, sorry but it’s true, I’ve heard a man say that women only wear leggings to show off their arse or (I don’t know quite how to say this because it’s ridiculous) fanny. My vile ex had this belief, he ridiculed overweight women wearing them and literally dribbled over other women/girls wearing them.
He used to take a ‘detour’ home, to avoid the traffic he said, now realise it was to ogle the young women leaving the local uni (sports)
He believes women wear them to tease men. What a twat. Women wear them because they are so bloody comfortable.

When your as tall as.me, 5 9" they are good under a dress, as dress usually looks more like a long top, and also deal under a dress when cycling !!

Think you're perhaps thinking about a different demographic. Most women wear leggings because they are stretchy and comfortable.

I'm quite sure most teenage girls/young women with good figures wear them to show off the shape of their bum and/or legs.

I'm over 40 so from the generation where leggings are a replacement for tights not trousers, always worn with a skirt/dress tunic or very long t-shirt.

Young peeps are not like this. I'm quite sure most men would agree Kendall Jenner et al look pretty 'sexy' in theirs.
