Just that really. I want to make an informed decision but really don't know who should get my vote. Am thinking Lib Dems - good balance of wanting a People's Vote and prioritising climate change. Help!

Are the people unaware that there is an election today the same people who went on about Britain not having a say in the working of the EU?

Frazzled2207 · 23/05/2019 15:08

Green for the first time ever.

Yes they have some odd views on Gender equality but they have the right idea about Brexit and Climate Change which are by far the two
Most important issues imo

Remember, Europe-wide the greens should turn out to be a formidable force this time which ought to put pressure on the EU and all its nations to do something about climate change.

BertrandRussell, yes, I should think there is a very high probability of that being true in most cases.

I am just heading out to the polling station now to cast my vote. LibDem, most likely. Maybe Green, I've nothing against them but I don't want to split the Remain vote too much.

LynseyLou1982 · 23/05/2019 15:37

I tactical voted and went Lib Dem

Meadowland · 23/05/2019 16:22

Just voted Lib Dem.

BestIsWest · 23/05/2019 16:25

Plaid Cymru

Topseyt · 23/05/2019 16:25

I went for LibDem in the end.

GiantKitten · 23/05/2019 16:30

In NW, just voted Green twice (DD has a proxy vote)

DH voted LD so we’ve covered both bases (unless he really voted for little cokehead...)

MunaZaldrizoti · 23/05/2019 17:01

I loathe Labour for forcing me to vote LibDem

ethelfleda · 23/05/2019 17:03

LibDem here

LeekMunchingSheepShagger · 23/05/2019 17:10

I have just voted Green for the first time ever. Complete tactical vote.

floraloctopus · 23/05/2019 17:23

Tactical vote for LibDem because I think more anti-Brexit people will vote for them instead of the Green party.

Choices were Anti-Brexit, Change UK, Tory, Labour, Green, Lib Dem and I think there might have been a couple of others but I can't remember.

AlphaJura · 23/05/2019 18:08

Labour. I'm a labour supporter anyway. I'm in a typically Tory area but we did have a couple of labour MEP's last time and I know one of them definitely is a remainer and she said she'd fight for that. So hoping she gets re-elected.

Fannydango · 23/05/2019 18:34

I went for Lib Dems in the end.

Plaid Cymru
First time ever not voting for Labour.
I'm so disappointed

HollyHocks13 · 23/05/2019 18:46

Just voted Green for the first time ever - I'm happy with this decision.

MajesticWhine · 23/05/2019 18:49

Libdem for me, which is my usual vote

georgedawes · 23/05/2019 19:09

Tactical vote for Greens here in EM. DH will vote Green too. Agree with everyone else - if you want to remain, you must vote for a remain party. I have voted labour my whole life, but this is too important to do so now.

Meadowland · 23/05/2019 19:32

Don't forget to vote !!
Failure to register your vote is partly what got us into this mess...

TheoriginalLEM · 23/05/2019 20:51

Well i was literally sitting in the polling station with dp having not made my mind up. I just couldnt bring myself to vote lib dem so i voted Green.

Im usually a labour voter

Redcrayons · 23/05/2019 20:57

I really really wanted to write 'fuck off racist scum' next to Robinson, but I resisted and tactical vote for Green. There seemed to be lots of people coming and going as well, however I'm in a Leave constituency so that's probably not a good sign.

Arlenia · 23/05/2019 21:03

I went for the Lib Dems in the end (though I felt bad about not supporting ChangeUK)

gingercat02 · 23/05/2019 21:07

I voted green. Could never vote tory, very disappointed in Corbyn and won't ever vote libdem again after Clegg supporting the torys in the university fees vote. Doesn't leave much choice 😠

OublietteBravo · 23/05/2019 21:52

I voted green in the end, although I was still deciding between them and LibDem in the voting booth. I think they have the best chance of preventing Nige’s Ninnies getting the final seat in my region.

sanityisamyth · 23/05/2019 21:54

I voted green for the first time. They seem to have policies that I can actually get behind but whether they'll be able to deliver them is another matter.
