Just that really. I want to make an informed decision but really don't know who should get my vote. Am thinking Lib Dems - good balance of wanting a People's Vote and prioritising climate change. Help!

I’m voting tactically as advised by remain united website:

www.remainunited.org/

MadameJimJam · 22/05/2019 21:48

Whichever Remain (or 2nd referendum committed) party is most likely to do well in my area. In most areas Lib Dem seems to be a good bet.

The remainunited website has got details of which is best in which area, if you want to vote tactically (and personally I think we should).

BlackLambAndGreyFalcon · 22/05/2019 21:48

Lib dem

PinkGiraffe1 · 22/05/2019 21:49

Green here. Usually Labour but lost faith. Was tempting to vote Lib dem but truly lost faith when they got in bed with Tories.

flingingmelon · 22/05/2019 21:49

Lib Dem

RedSheep73 · 22/05/2019 21:52

I'd like to vote Green but I think practically it will be lib dem.

ThomasRichard · 22/05/2019 21:52

Change UK. None of the others give a toss about women and treat us with outright abuse and disdain.

CountFosco · 22/05/2019 21:52

Lib Dem. I've seen 3 sites recommending them for the remainer vote in the NE (remainunited, remainvoter, and a website with more detailed analysis of the NE situation).

flingingmelon · 22/05/2019 21:52

I'm confused though, I've just looked at both those tactical voting sites and they contradict each other.

Theworldisfullofgs · 22/05/2019 21:53

Lib dem

SallyOMalley · 22/05/2019 21:53

Lib Dem.

NailsNeedDoing · 22/05/2019 21:54

Lib Dem

MrsMaow · 22/05/2019 21:54

Lib Dem

Highjacking a bit but I don’t think it’s worth starting a new thread for. This is my first time voting with a baby in tow, is it allowed to take a pushchair into the voting area?

Justbreathing · 22/05/2019 21:55

They use slightly different statistics I think!

mamangelo · 22/05/2019 21:55

Lib Dem here also

Justbreathing · 22/05/2019 21:55

@MrsMaow
I can’t believe it wouldn’t be!

ThomasRichard · 22/05/2019 21:56

@MrsMaow yes it is. My kids have accompanied me to every vote and like to loudly show off their reading skills by announcing my votes to the otherwise silent hall Hmm

MrsMaow · 22/05/2019 21:58

Thanks justbreathing and ThomasRichard

Green.

Tactical voting requires you to have a clue what people are going to vote for in the election, and nobody knows what the fuck is going on in this one. That's why different sites will give you different recommendations. Please take tactical sites with a huge, huge pinch of salt.

Climate breakdown is the biggest issue we face at the moment by an enormous margin. Far bigger than Brexit. That's what's most important to me as a voter, so I'm voting Green.

(Also the EU cannot stop Brexit, but it can pledge money to climate mitigation. So.)

HazardGhost · 22/05/2019 22:03

Lib dem

Tactically advised greens but in our area I think it's unlikely they'll get enough votes because they havent campaigned at all. I get the greens stand for green things but I'm clueless as to what else they do so seem a bit single issue. Having said that if the lib dems hadnt included climate change into their manifesto then I would be more inclined to vote green as I think it's important.

So yeah thats waffly! Essentially lib dems because their manifesto covered multiple things that I think are important.

feebeecat · 22/05/2019 22:04

Green.
Can't be Labour or Tory, can't trust Lib Dems after the coalition fiasco. Not sure I trust any of them really . . .

Mistlewoeandwhine · 22/05/2019 22:06

Labour

Hollipopsmum · 22/05/2019 22:07

Ideally I’d vote Green but the tactical voting websites advise SNP or LibDems so given my key priority at present is remaining I’ll be voting SNP

Mistlewoeandwhine · 22/05/2019 22:07

If you split the left vote, you’ll end up with UKIP or the Brexit party representing the UK.

Missillusioned · 22/05/2019 22:07

Plaid Cymru
