Just got out the shower & washing my face at the sink.
DP comes into the bathroom, sits on the loo & shits.
If he’d told me I’d left the room.
He’s now pissed off ‘how many nappies have you changed ‘ etc
I just find it disgusting

Unless he had a stomach upset there’s just no need for that. I wouldn’t like it. Can’t imagine DP or the DCs doing that now.

I can't control poo too well, if I have to go I just have to go. I'd be pretty upset if a partner felt a normal bodily function was so disgusting.

When we first lived together, he tried to keep the door of the ensuite slightly open to chat, he learnt quickly why bathroom doors have a lock.

I’d hate that. If he was desperate to go fair enough but he could have said and I’d have left the room.

We have locks on our bathroom doors and if it’s locked it’s tough! - if someone can’t wait they have to knock and ask.

As for washing your face at the sink rather than the shower, I always do this, can't stand getting my face under the shower.

Chatting while one is having a wee is fine in our house, but we draw the line at poo because of the smell, basically.

I never lock door for medical reasons. But we always have been an open family .
It doesn't bother us or adult kids .
Be careful of locking door though, I fell recently and lay near 3 hours , just so glad door was not locked .
