Good point, but I wonder why she wore it, knowing that she had to negotiate steep stairs? Massive error in judgement for someone so experienced.

It's not ageist to suggest that performers whose voices have not stood the test of time might be wise to bow out gracefully (and it's not like she or McCartney need the money). However, it's their choice, but if they put themselves out on stage in front of cash paying audiences, they will have to take the flak that goes with lack lustre vocals.

I'm a huge Madonna fan, but tonight's performance was woeful. That 2018 performance was so much better.
The stairs were a bad idea. As a pp said, it did look like a stairlift advert.
And why not sing 'Music'? Surely that fits in perfectly with the Eurovision sentiment (I know it's the 30th anniversary of Like a Prayer, but still. 'Music' is also quite autotuney too, so would have sounded better, like the new track).

All he ever did was bellow anyway. I hate his voice. Bonnie Raitt's voice when I saw her about 4 years ago when she was 64/65 was magnificent as was Emmylou Harris at the same age or possibly older. Stevie Nicks as well. Of course all 3 of them had voices a gazillion times better than Madonna's to begin with.

Political gesture was that two of her dancers displayed Israeli and Palestian flags on their outfits (briefly) which wasn't agreed in advance. Very subtle - I didn't notice, you'd have to watch that performance very closely, and who would after seeing the start.

Surely she chose her own set so why pick stairs if they were going to be a struggle? Her voice was terrible. We were cringing watching it. But then I’ve never really been a Madonna fan. She’s always gone for shock value in what she does and I think that probably is to cover up her mediocre voice.

Geriatrics is a branch of medicine that deals with the problems and diseases of old age and the medical care and treatment of aging people. Having to be a bit more careful on stairs as you get older hardly meets that definition.

I'm getting to the point I'm almost grateful to her. Shock, horror- Madonna at 60 can't run down stairs as fast as she did at 25. This is normal and natural.

Something is wrong with her, it must be hard for someone in the spotlight all their lives when age knocks at the door. Some age gracefully and some try with all they're might to keep their youth. Going, she's failed. And what's with the patch? That's already been done by Gabrielle hasn't it in the 90s. Sad as she was the coolest back in the day.
