I had those when I was six.

Can't beat having comfortable feet. Fuck fashion that hurts.

cranstonmanor · 17/05/2019 21:09

I'm almost 40 and I love them. I do like quirky shoes in general though

CathyorClaire · 17/05/2019 21:13

They look like the 'indoor sandals' I was made to wear in my first year at secondary in the early 70's.

I'm with rude guy. Sorry, OP.

countrygirl99 · 17/05/2019 21:14

I like them. I love the red ones. Where are they from, can younger them in the provinces or do U have to force myself to London?

Brigante9 · 17/05/2019 21:14

God yes, I am actually an art teacher aren't I?

😂 Yes, yes you are! I love them.

I have many Doc Martens in multiple colours, including most recently, a tapestry pair as per attached. I love chunky Mary Janes, but my feet are too big for most brands so I buy Docs. 😢

I’d love to sway round, as a colleague does, in romantically high heels. I managed to walk from the car park to the staff room the other day in a pair of snakeskin block heels and thought I’d done well. I changed into trainers for the day!

They look practical.

Snigger! Damning with faint praise. 🤣

Oh god they are awful

LoafofSellotape · 17/05/2019 21:20

My mum wore them back in the 80's when it was all Lady Di pointy ballet pumps,I was mortified.

Oldraver · 17/05/2019 21:21

I have the older style sort of tam coloured ones for years and love them. One of the nurses at my blood donor session wears the black ones with tights as she say they are so comfortable.

I asked Red or Dead to do bright red ones but not seen them yet

midsomermurderess · 17/05/2019 21:24

Fine, on a six-year old.

TarquinGyrfalcon · 17/05/2019 21:27

I love them both - can I ask what the name of the Fly ones are - they are gorgeous.

rupert23 · 17/05/2019 21:27

my mum made me wear sandals like that to school and i hated them so sorry i dont like them, but they may be comfy and if you like them then its all good

fashiondevotee · 17/05/2019 21:29

They're a little bit hideous... but you do you, OP. Grin

rubberduckyyouretheone · 17/05/2019 21:30

Love them OP. Im a size 3 though and have been known to buy actual children's shoes.

ladymalfoy · 17/05/2019 21:30

I like them. I’d have ‘em in black though but that’s because I’d wear them for school.

ObvsItsNotMe · 17/05/2019 21:32

@TarquinGyrfalcon

The Fly ones are called "fipa" and you can find them on Overcube. Fly London have them too, but only some sizes left.

BikeRunSki · 17/05/2019 21:34

I love them! I am 48 and have size 9 feet (actual boats), bet they don’t come in my size.

suzy2b · 17/05/2019 21:36

I remember wearing sandles like that when i was about 7 56yrs ago

3luckystars · 17/05/2019 21:36

They are the ugliest shoes I have ever seen in my life. The shoe itself is bad enough but the colour is sickening.

I would never normally say anything negative but they are really bad. The worst.

Changingweather · 17/05/2019 21:39

They looked familiar...then it hit me.

SirVixofVixHall · 17/05/2019 21:40

I love them, but worry I am too old for them.
Also love tapestry docs above.

Knittedfairies · 17/05/2019 21:43

. They are a bit "Dick and Jane" I feel. Nostalgic memories perhaps?

Dick and Dora, (Nip and Fluff) or Peter and Jane; unless you had a more grown-up reading scheme of course...

Knittedfairies · 17/05/2019 21:44

Ignore me!!

Brigante9 · 17/05/2019 21:46

@SirVixofVixHall your username sounds like a pedigree name for a gorgeous dog! You clearly have good taste. 😊

SirVixofVixHall · 17/05/2019 21:46

I have just seen your age, i had missed a page out. Maybe I am not too old ! I love a chunky sensible sandal.

OhMyGodTheyKilledKenny · 17/05/2019 21:46

They remind me of 70s primary school shoes I'm afraid.

I have some Red or Dead patent brogues that I wear for work and they are just so comfortable so hopefully yours will be too.
