Wtf

pigsDOfly · 18/05/2019 13:08

Okay if you're 5 years old and wear them with white socks I suppose but for adults, no, they're ugly.

And far from looking comfortable, if worn without socks I imagine they'd rub your feet in so many places you'd end up covered in blisters.

PollyPelargonium52 · 18/05/2019 13:09

Such a ridiculous comment. Men do not notice shoes on the whole. If the female has a nice face and decent enough figure (or the shape the man prefers) plus they notice she is available that will generally be more than sufficient.

Wearing the right shoes is superfluous to requirements in pulling.

formerbabe · 18/05/2019 13:14

Joking people!

ObvsItsNotMe · 18/05/2019 13:15

Well, I'm wearing them today.. in public! No one has run away screaming.. no rubbing or blisters.. and happily married for 29 years so no pulling. All's right with the world then Grin

Mine notices shoes and is pissed off because I refuse to indulge his love of stilettos. It obviously wasn’t a deal breaker, though.

BumbleBeeWineGlass · 18/05/2019 13:17

Well... I work in a care home for people with dementia - all 45 residents (male and female) have a version of these from Hotter as they're easy to get on and hard wearing... she there's that.

NorthernKnickers · 18/05/2019 13:17

No hope at all OP...but do you care? I never do 😂. Rock those 'interesting' shoes 👍😁

cindersrella · 18/05/2019 13:18

I think they are cool 😀

BiBiBirdie · 18/05/2019 13:19

I like them
But then, DD despairs of me so I'm probably wrong

CoraPirbright · 18/05/2019 13:22

What a horrid comment to make about someone else’s choice!

There is literally not enough money in the world to make me wear those but who actually says that to a stranger or even loud enough to overhear. Rude, ill-mannered lout!

StoneColdOld · 18/05/2019 13:23

ObvsItsNotMe
I'm wearing mine too ! Came this morning (how quick was that ?) and I love them.
I'm about to go out now, so if you spot another pair on the street give me a wave.

And if anyone notices me in mine, it'll make a change as I've been invisible for years.

NCforthisone19 · 18/05/2019 13:23

I love them, and I love the fact they look like the school shoes I wore in the 80s.

I really, really couldn't care less what people think of what I choose to put on my feet. If someone judges me for my shoes, that's their problem.

Although saying that, I judge people who spend hundreds on shoes because they have a naff red sole, so there's that Smile

somanyquestions2018 · 18/05/2019 13:26

THEY ARE BEAUTIFUL!!!

ObvsItsNotMe · 18/05/2019 13:32

The only comment that "got to me" was the clown feet one. I'm having to resist the impact of that one consciously.

I'd love to rock them in dungarees/ pinafores and hair in pigtails.

Sadly with size 2 feet, I'd just look like I'd been to the children's department in Clarks.

I'd like to think I have the sense of style of a bubbly children's TV presenter... but the sad truth is I know far too much about oxbow lakes and own a bit too much cordoroy for someone in their 30s. Grin

Enjoy them and years of healthy, well formed feet!

IHaveBrilloHair · 18/05/2019 15:39

I wear my Pods with dungarees

Mrsfrumble · 18/05/2019 16:38

I love them! But then my entire shoe collection consists of comfortable, flat things that have all been described on here as “fugly”; Converse, Birkenstock’s, Toms, Saltwater, Camper...

My favourite boots were once described on this very board as looking “like something an ewok would wear”.

I manage to have sex on regular basis Grin

BikeRunSki · 18/05/2019 16:46

@MrsFrumble - your shoe collection sounds like mine. Do you know Duckfeet?

Sosayi · 18/05/2019 18:19

The man was right
They are vile, absolutely vile
Sorry OP I can’t see one nice thing about them
I can’t get over how many are saying they like them or would buy them
I would rather throw away the money paid for them than wear a pair
They remind me of my school sandals 30 odd years ago .They were vile as well

LordProfFekkoThePenguinPhD · 18/05/2019 18:21

Sweet Jesus - I remember getting a pail like that from Clark’s when I was about 4. I thought they were ugly but mum decided they were ‘sensible’. That would’ve been about 1974 and I still haven’t forgiven her.

Babyroobs · 18/05/2019 18:52

I like them except for the colour.

NiceLegsShameAboutTheFace · 18/05/2019 18:57

I think they're fab Smile

Wauden · 18/05/2019 19:07

I prefer shoes to be wide and comfortable. I wear trainers everywhere but might check out something like these 😎 to wear with arty things, ie rocking the art teacher vibe!

Justsocross · 18/05/2019 19:16

I love them and have just ordered a pair we are unique !!
