I used to wear similar style as a kid. I'd still wear them now but then I don't much mind what people think as long as I feel happy.

If they are comfy then why not?
I love the second pair, are they comfy?
I can't understand anyone buying flat shoes which hurt them. High stilettos which look great then yes I can forfeit comfort.

I have a pair of patent burgundy shoes similar to those, have had them for 10 years and wear them all the time- with skinny jeans and long sleeve shirt ( like today) or black tights and short ish dress

They're very appealing in a very fugly kind of way, trouble is they really only can be worn by young women because while they look like they're supposed to be worn by my age demographic (advanced middle-age) I and many of my peers wouldn't be seen dead in them because we'd just look like frumps rather than edgy and stylish.

I'll either wear them with black skinnies stripy top and long cardi (greys and blacks) or grey or navy linen dress, leggings and cardi and some kind of "quirky" necklace. God yes, I am actually an art teacher aren't I?

Other outfits I imagined are dungarees, pinafore dress or corduroy trousers (different lengths/leg widths).

I love them. I tried them on in a different colour last year, but I have wide toes and skinny ankles so they flopped around and didn't fit properly! I am in my early 30s for context. I also like the fly london ones!

I do not knowingly own any corduroy of any width. I do however own a necklace that says "weirdo" (hand stamped mind you, it's artisanal you know). Does that redeem me any?

Yup I had a pair of those when I was 6. They had crepe soles.

If it were a straight choice between wearing them or amputating my own feet, I'd go for the latter.

I love them. But then I like really practical flat shoes which are interesting colours. I also like a round toe.
