TM has agreed to start the process of leaving office in June. I have mixed feelings and am very worried about the future of this country. AIBU to think this is going to make the situation worse and possibly lead to no deal Brexit?

When the German Chancellor stood at the lectern and invited 800,000 refugees to Germany without consulting any Member country and expecting them to trample down the borders of each EU member on their route, to my way of thinking, it was no longer a Union. How can it be an economic union if one person acting unilaterally does what they like without consultation. Sooner or later there would be others and we cannot be party to belonging to a union where larger countries dominate. Lately there has been the case of an Austrian government official liaising with Russia on deals, without anyone knowing - or so we are led to believe.

I do not think we need other states to run the country. The fact that Westminster seems all at sea just shows that all the work is being done in Brussels and our civil servants do not have to lift a finger except to lift the rubber stamp they use. Those Civil Servants, paid for by our taxes will now have to think for themselves and help govern this country and they do not like the prospect. Are they really advising Parliament properly or are they hoping a second referendum will enable them to sit back and do nothing - not even think of England?
