Little James 😔 it's completely unbearable to watch the cctv of him getting led off by those bastards..his poor mother and father having to watch that, breaks my heart into pieces.

BlackCatSleeping · 12/05/2019 10:58

The Petit murders really shocked me.

Two guys broke into their family home. They hit the dad with a baseball bat and tied him up in the basement, and then proceeded to rape and murder his wife and two teenage daughters. The mum was strangled and the girls were tied to their beds and their rooms set on fire.

The dad somehow managed to escape and get help, but they were too late to save his family. I always wondered how on earth you get over something like that. Apparently, he did eventually fall in love and remarry someone from his church.

SmellbowSmellbow123 · 12/05/2019 10:59

The murders of Ted Bundy. He was a very, very sick individual.

YouBumder · 12/05/2019 11:04

Oh god, so many of these. Also poor little
April Jones. Poor baby :(

YouBumder · 12/05/2019 11:06

And poor little Daniel Pelka :(

BlackCatSleeping · 12/05/2019 11:06

Also, Baby Briana's case was so horrific. She was only 5 months old when she died and had never had a day without pain, so extensive were her injuries, which were caused by her father and uncle. She had 15 human bite marks on her and had been raped. Sad

YouBumder · 12/05/2019 11:07

Oh god baby Brianna had been awful. The poor baby had never known the feeling of being cared for and loved in her short life. :(

I will never ever understand how people can be so wicked

Orangecake123 · 12/05/2019 11:09

DerrenBrownings · 12/05/2019 11:11

Elisa Lam story is so weird especially as film made 8 years previous is so similar to the case!

EnglishRose13 · 12/05/2019 11:13

@RubberTreePlant

Can you remember the name?

Sickoffamilydrama · 12/05/2019 11:14

Wish I'd never looked at this post, getting palpitations now. I made my 11 nearly 12 DD wait to be collected yesterday in a very public area for 20 mins. She didn't like it and told me she could have been kidnapped 😕

I can't recall her name but the woman that drowned her children but had extreme post partum psychosis. Always thought her husband should have been charged he was repeatedly told she was a danger to herself and the children also not to have any more children after the fist episode of psychosis yet he didn't believe in contraception because of his religion. He left her with the kids for long periods even though he knew she was struggling with her MH. Basically he did nothing to help her or the children and they paid the price.

Mississippilessly · 12/05/2019 11:15

Just read about Slyvia Likens.
I cant face looking up any more. The world is horrific.

AhoyDelBoy · 12/05/2019 11:20

Is the Junko case the French one PPs don’t recommend googling? I’m always tempted when told not to do something but think I’ll abstain.

BigRedLondonBus · 12/05/2019 11:23

I googled the Junko one it is from Japan. I shouldn’t can’t take my mind off it now.

notatwork · 12/05/2019 11:31

The Elizabeth and Katie Edwards murders.

I have had difficult periods with my teens (and falling out with your Mum during the teen years is part of the development of self as an adult) but cannot fathom how a 14 year old and her boyfriend could do such a horrific crime to her mother and sister over sibling rivalry. It was and is something which really affected me deeply as a mother.

YouBumder · 12/05/2019 11:34

Just read about Sylvia Likens :(

Oh my fucking god. I’ve never heard of anything so depraved

TravellingSpoon · 12/05/2019 11:36

Fiona Pilkington and her daughter Frankie, driven to murder/suicide by lack of support from the authorities. My heart breaks for the desperation she must have felt.

clairemcnam · 12/05/2019 11:38

sickoffamilydrama If your DD was not just being a drama queen, I think she needs some help to feel safer in public. At her age she should be fine waiting in an ordinary public place for 20 minutes during the day. Sorry, just screamed out to me that she was at risk of anxiety when older if not given help now when the issue is relatively small.

OldAndWornOut · 12/05/2019 11:38

The Anita Dobby case is traumatic too.

Nat6999 · 12/05/2019 11:39

The Laitner family murdered 10 minutes from where I live by Malcolm Fox. I regularly drive past where the house was & it makes me shiver every time.

clairemcnam · 12/05/2019 11:43

For me it is the EarOns/Golden State Killer Killer. He was only caught this year. A US serial killer who killed at least 13 people and raped at least 50 women. He spent an enormous amount of time stalking women, watching and then breaking in at night. He did thinks like break in before an attack and take bullets out of a gun. When there was a public meeting about the attacks and an official said he only targeted women living alone, he started to target couples. He operated between 1976 and 1986 and actually worked as a policeman for a while.

TopBitchoftheWitches · 12/05/2019 11:45

One that sticks in my mind was something I watched on crime watch years ago. A mother was murdered in her home and her two teenagers came home from school and found her on the bathroom floor, her breasts had been cut off.
I always remember that story and wonder how on earth those poor kids ever got over that.

Another was a murder when I was about 10, very local to me. A young woman called Fiona Gallant 18 yrs old, was abducted during he short walk from her grandparents house to her mothers house. I was in the same class at primary school with one of her younger brothers. I knew exactly where the two houses were located and they were about a 3 min walk apart, along a busy main road.
Her body was then found nearer my house a few days later.
What happened in that short walk?

Ex28 · 12/05/2019 11:55

I don’t know why I Googled some of these. Just shocking and horrific.

Awwlookatmybabyspider · 12/05/2019 11:56

Poor Fiona. You can only imagine how unbearable her life must have been thanks to those low life wasters.
If she believed that burning herself and her daughter to death was the only way out.
The police also have a lot to answer for.
As far as I know. No charges were ever bought against them.
In my eyes It was murder. No do gooder will convince other wise.
If she wasn't being terrorised and tormented it wouldn't have happened.
I hope as they've got older.
Their conscience is wrecked with guilt.
I hope they have nightmares.
If there is such a thing as ghosts I hope they're haunted and terrorised by that poor Lady and her daughter.

Sickoffamilydrama · 12/05/2019 12:00

@clairemcnam thanks that was my thoughts too. Unfortunately my DH has an anxious personality and I've spent years getting rid of mine. My DM is very over protective and feeds into it as well Hmm
