To ask if you've ever been banned/barred from anywhere?

Was having a conversation with a friend this week and she's been banned from her local swimming centre for arguing with the receptionist. The receptionist didn't believe her daughters age and said that she was trying to get her in cheaper resulting in the manager banning her for life!

It made me think of the time I was banned from Santa's grotto 15 years ago 🤦🏻‍♀️ I can't go into too much detail because it's extremely outing!

I got banned from my local pub for drinking too much and locking myself in a toilet. I think I was only 16/17 at the time and was mortified as this pub was a huge part of mu social life! I went back and apologised so many times but they would not let me back in... fortunately by the following year they had clearly forgotten and order was restored

My group of girlfriends & I were banned from all the pubs in our town after an incident in the first pub, which was not our fault. We went to another pub fine and we only found out when we went to another pub and tried to buy a drink. They were very kind about it, but it was mortifying.

I got banned from a forum for the user name "Ipeein_swimmingpools"

Registered, then tried to post, and found I couldn't. In just a few minutes they had banned me. There was an email "Don't bother posting. You are obviously not mature enough to be allowed near a computer".

Also banned from a karaoke place for taking my own booze in, rather than buying theirs, a long time ago.

I got barred from half the pubs in my town.

My abusive ex runs one, his sister is a senior manager in another and because of the nature of the pub industry a fair few of the others are run by his close friends so I can't go in any

Did I read that right. Someone had been barred from Wales? As in the country?????

Along with several other UK members, I was banned from a US run dog forum for referring to female dogs as bitches.

And I got a week's ban from Digital Spy for using the word twat.

Disappointing really. I was quite badly behaved in my youth, especially when I had drink on board. I can't believe I've never been banned from a pub or anything.

I'm banned from a local bar for saying the music was shit one night.

They didn't ban me the time I drank way too much and passed out in the toilets for several hours.

I got banned from Wales.
Yes, the whole country. It was called 'operation hedgehog', the police manned the roads into Wales and barred all crusties.

Couple of pubs in local town for getting very drunk,very flirty and arguing with landlady. This was almost 20years ago.
I got barred from all Etam's as a teen for stealing a black cardi ( I was very bad teen)

Not me, but my best mate got barred from the Old Fire Station club in Oxford for going behind the bar and serving himself a pint!

My home address is banned from Justeat and all of our local takeaways for home delivery. It wasn’t my fault, DP ex (it’s been 10 years woman!! Move on! Not OW btw 🙄) thinks it’s hilarious to order and send food to us, the takeaways obviously got fed up of me turning food away, and having a wasted journey.

Also banned from a local tribute venue for fighting, SIL & I got fed up of being dry humped by strangers and clocked em one with our handbags.

I recently got banned from an a Florida holiday site as I pulled someone up who said the killer whales in Seaworld are happier in tiny tanks full of clean water rather swimming in oceans full of plastic. Places like Seaworld are shit anyway.

I’ve just remembered I’m banned from servers Facebook groups for being a home business and not having a shop.

Got my own back. Started a group invited them all to it. Then banned them childish maybe but was fun.

As my dc will tell you my anger is more quietly menacing rather than shouty so I told her I was going to ruin her business- I did and she sold not long afterwards.

Local pub I went to the karaoke night at every week with friends.

One night another patron knocked a sign from the ceiling into my head. I had an injury which meant I missed work that weekend.

I claimed loss of wages (was also a student). My uncle who ran pubs said I should have sued because the sign wasn't secured and I have had a good few k payout.

Anyway that isn't My nature but I wanted my £40!

Paid out no issue.

So why banned? Not because of the claim but because landlord got my personal details and although I was 18 realised I had only turned 18 2 months previously - but had been drinking there for nearly a year!

Personally I just think he was annoyed as for his arse kicked for lack of H and S and thought if I wasn't there people would forget it happened!

Instead he lost a whole group of regular customers who started attending the pub 25m away instead 🤦🏼‍♀️

@Malibucyprus can you not set up a password with these takeaways? That's what I would do I couldn't live without a takeaway delivery 🤦🏻‍♀️

I got a ban on tinder!!
I was in Nigeria for work and opened the app to send someone I was chatting to back in the U.K. a message. Tinder banned me because of my location! This was a few years ago now, so not sure if the ban has been lifted...

I was barred from a local kebab shop. I had ordered from somewhere else on Just Eat and they’d listed it as delivered after almost 2 hrs of waiting so I ordered from the kebab place. My first order turned up literally 3 minutes after I made the new order. I immediately rang to cancel and the boss was swearing at me and threatening me because of the ‘loss of funds’. It hadn’t even been 5 minutes since I’d pressed confirm on my order. I also had to wait for a refund. He threatened me not to ever order form there again. Okay I won’t give you my money! I like to give him a dirty look every time I walk past. Jumped up prick
