Is pineapple a pizza topping?

No way. Same for chicken, pepperoni, or anything except cheese, tomato, olives, ham or tuna and veg such as peppers, onions, mushrooms or artichokes but not sweetcorn.

I was told before going to Italy that I should never order pizza on a pineapple but I dont like pizza so it was never going to be an issue. However, every restaurant I ate in even a few weeks ago in the South Tyrol had various pizzas on the menu that contained pineapple in the topping.

Witchtower slightly off topic, but what’s the deal with pasta in Italy?!
I’ve heard that the further south you go, the more “al dente” the pasta will be I’ve always wanted to visit Rome...but will be most disappointed if all the pasta I order in restaurants arrives needing to be chewed with gusto I like my pasta squidgy
