Is pineapple a pizza topping?

Hi, I'm wondering if pineapple is actually a pizza topping.

I love pineapple and often request extra (when not pregnant) on top of my pizzas. Also tastes amazing with aromatic duck and roast potatoes, but that could just be pregnant me 😂😂

If you think sweet should not go with savoury, I have to question whether you like sweet and sour sauce? Or Mexican mole (pronounced mow-LAY)? Mole can have chocolate in it.

Anyway, in our house not a chance would it go on a pizza. It's all kinds of wrong and something DH and I both agree on.

Well - you could, in theory, put a giant shiny turd on top of a pizza. Doesn't make it right or authentic though. Just like Chicken Tikka pizza isn't authentic. Or Pulled Pork pizza.

I always Ofer pineapple on my pizza and then I pick it off. Couldn’t tell you why🤷🏻‍♀️
