Is pineapple a pizza topping?

Hi, I'm wondering if pineapple is actually a pizza topping.
Can I have your opinions please!

I would say yes...my husband would say hell no, and he's Italian. He would divorce me if I asked for pineapple on a pizza 🤣

I do not like sweet and sour sauce no. Nor apple sauce with pork or duck with orange etc etc. No, no, no.
I would not touch any savoury sauce containing chocolate either.

Or Mexican mole (pronounced mow-LAY)? Mole can have chocolate in it.

I think dark choc and chilli could be amazing on pizza.

Only outside of Italy or authentic Italian restaurants in the UK. If you were to order pineapple on a pizza in our restaurant you'd be laughed out of the place, the same as if you asked for Parmesan cheese on your spaghetti Vongole, or indeed Parmesan on any fish/seafood pasta....

Yes. It’s the best pizza topping, try it with black olives. Yum!

To clarify, Italians struggle with 'fruit out of context' so apple sauce with pork, or cranberry sauce with turkey is seen as weird!

It is for me. I like pineapple on a veggie pizza with mushroom, sweet corn and roasted yellow/orange peppers.
