Just that really, things for the commute or general stuff you need in the day?
I always seem to massively over pack mine and then never use anything, or unpack it and miss out key items 🤦🏼‍♀️

Keep spare sunglasses and tissues etc in car.

I always have dog poo bags. Even if I don’t have the dog with me. They’re massively useful for many things!

Purse, phone, keys, pen, tissues, emergency sanpro. I don't do handbags - they hurt my neck. Little rucksack or big pockets!

Keys, phone, wallet (£, cards, bus pass, train pass), diary, pen, handkerchief, fold-up shopping bag.

Purse, cards, umbrella, floss, plasters, kite, shopping bags, sunglasses, glasses cleaner and keys

Purse, phone, keys, shopping bag, pen, paper, apple or banana and a small bottle of water

Purse, glasses, sunglasses, lip balm, tissues, plasters, fidget spinner, tampax, towels, headphones, paper, pens, keys, bubbles, key ring of symbols, hand cream. And water bottle gets added.
My work bag has Much more shit in it.

I used to have handbags full of crap I thought I needed.

I left the corporate world and I can shove what I need in a pocket normally.

Now I rarely carry a bag, unless the dog is coming to work with me, in which case I need his food, blanket etc.

I love not lugging around makeup, spare tights, brush etc

Purse, phone, basic makeup bag and hairbrush, waterbottle, notebook & pens, tissues, keys, lipsalve, necessary medication. Sometimes a book too. That's it. Fits easily into a medium sized handbag. I don't like big tote bags.

I’ve just swapped to a smaller bag so have had to cut down. I currently carry a purse, work pass and locker key, pen, pocket mirror, hair ties, spot cream, concealer, little pot of translucent powder and a brush (if I have my big bag I carry a mini make up bag), spare pair of contact lenses, small deodorant, painkillers, small bottle of sun cream. There’s always a couple of superhero or imaginext figures lurking and some spare kids socks.

Keys and mobile go in my coat pocket if I have a coat with me.

I totally need any advice given here, I’m going to have a good read through.

I am self employed but work regularly in an office which isn’t mine so can’t leave stuff there and take an embarrassingly huge rucksack with:

London a-z (with a few pages missing) (in case I have no signal on my phone)
Antibacterial hand gel
A small zip up purse with san pro in
Tissues (loose, I only like man size)
Several pens
Notebook
Book/kindle
iPad
Charger
Drink bottle
Small squirty squash
Inhaler
Paracetamol (I almost never take tablets and would certainly be too ill to be at work if I was ill enough to consider it)
A zip up pouch with timesheets in (sometimes required for work)
Massive purse
Oyster
Several ID cards for various locations
Wipes
Spare knickers (shit pelvic floor...)
Chewing gum
Floss
Deodorant

And a small extra bag carrying breakfast/lunch/more snacks than I ever eat in a day.

One of the reasons I envy men! In answer to pp, re advice, the trouble is is that there's always the possibility you MIGHT need any of those items. The only way to cut down is to have only the things you definitely need, but sods law you will need something if you haven't got it. So there's no clear cut answer 😂

Mallow, do you need a book/ kindle and an iPad? That would cut weight down.

Purse, phone, keys, lip balm or lip stick, tweezers, nail file, medication, a hair band and a couple of grips, keys, chewing gum. You would assume much less than that by the size of the thing, though

Wallet, work phone, personal phone, keys, Kindle, travel card, fold-up bags for shopping (I really recommend Envirosax - really small and light but unfold to carry a lot), pen, small hairbrush, work ID card, glasses case with lens cloth. If women's clothes didn't have such shit pockets I'd probably stop carrying a bag (although my keys would make holes in my suits, so maybe not).

My makeup bag, lots of pairs of contact lenses and my coffee cup live at work, and I keep a charger there for my personal phone too. But I know I'm lucky not having to hot-desk.
