Just that really, things for the commute or general stuff you need in the day?
I always seem to massively over pack mine and then never use anything, or unpack it and miss out key items 🤦🏼‍♀️

I don't use handbags anymore. I got completely fed up with lugging round uggins of shite that I never seemed to need. So I make sure I always have pockets in my trousers (I don't do skirts or dresses). Phone goes in one and keys and tiny purse with enough room to fit my licence and debit card, in the other. I have everything that I need either in my desk drawer or in my car.

On the occasions where I am in and out of London, I take a small backpack which fits my laptop, notebook and pen, whatever book I'm reading and a small zip bag which is my travel-bag and has tissues, paracetamol, plasters, nail file, charging lead and collapsible plug, headphones and lip balm.

I have spent many years commuting and having to travel at short notice. Travelling light is the best thing you can do - less stuff to worry about and much easier to carry because you are only taking what you need.

DrWhy · 26/04/2019 19:23

Phone, keys, wallet, ibuprofen, emergency cash, some gift vouchers I really need to spend, tissues, wet wipes, plain paper, crayons, mini magnadoodle, water colouring book, Sophie the giraffe, woozit, nappies, nappy bags, spare vest, sleepsuit, T-shirt, socks, pants and trousers x2, hats, suncream, nappy cream, muslin, reusable straw, snack bar, water bottle. Keys, purse, phone, tape measure, note book, lots of medication, copy of prescription, receipts, pot of nails that H bought but forget to ask for back.

Marmite27 · 26/04/2019 19:27

Lunch bag, laptop, pencil case, cable case inc headphones. iPod and ear phones. Toothbrush, toothpaste, dental floss chewing gum. Sanitary items (in a small coin purse). Stickers and a few random pieces of paper, a note pad, water bottle, insulated coffee cup.

Purse, house keys, car keys and phone in my pockets. Nothing unusual and my bag is small laptop/rucksack type.

Marmite27 · 26/04/2019 19:32

Oh actually I forgot there’s a can of deodorant, an electronic mini scale (upto 200g) and a munchkin collapsible baby bowl with lid. I’m taking the diet very seriously at the moment.

The only things left on my desk are a photo calendar and usb fan.

Babdoc · 26/04/2019 19:32

I don’t carry a bag at all, they’re too easy to snatch and I don’t need that much stuff with me.
I have two pockets in my jacket. One takes phone, wallet and biro. The other takes house keys, car key and a tissue. Sorted.

Hippychick78 · 26/04/2019 19:34

Going out somewhere for day etc I take purse, keys, perfume, gum, snack, diary, pen, gloves, emergency tampon, medication, juice in a bottle. I usually bring small crochet protect depending on where I'm going.

When going to work I remove crochet, add in work pieces/id, a blusher brush to dust my face, and the biggest packed Lunch in the world plus snacks. I don't like to be hungry! Always have a bag for life to hand also.

I Carry backpacks only and have a good collection ranging from tiny tiny to 32l, it's a bit of an obsession tbh 😬

Hippychick78 · 26/04/2019 19:35

I always have headphones on, phone in pocket, and wear sunglasses all year round (sensory issues). I don't drive so headphones are a must to drown out people's the worlds noise.
