To think that is very strange to canvas the opinions of strangers about their feelings on your choice of name for your baby. I don’t get why they can’t tell if they like a name.

We can’t cure all the diseases. People need to die of something. The world can’t sustain a massive, ageing population who are never going to get cancer or heart disease. It’s just not feasible. We need to work on having excellent palliative care and dignity in death.

I think it’s great that the teachers child gets the lead part in the school play/headgirl/presents the flowers to the dignitary - good prep for how the world works on a larger scale. Teaches kids that life favours a few.

Getting a dog is a perfectly normal thing to do, as humans have been living with dogs for tens of thousands of years. No you will not have to give up your children’s clubs or never have a day out again or give up work to do two hour long walks a day or get a new car to facilitate it he dog. You’ll just get one, tell it off when it’s naughty, cuddle it a lot and it’ll be fine.
