I don't live there. But I sort of wish I knew whoever does...

Fuck me! My eyes are haunted!

CassandraCross · 17/04/2019 00:00

IHateUncleJamie pictures 30-33 in the one you attached - look like someone had an unfortunate diarrhoea accident that has sprayed and spread all over the soft furnishings.

What's with all the stuffed peacocks?? Especially the one on the table, are you meant to eat your dinner around the damn thing?

IHateUncleJamie · 17/04/2019 00:05

Cassandra I wouldn’t want to sit on those soft furnishings! It’s absolutely batshit, isn’t it. How do you dust a lifesized peacock?

viques · 17/04/2019 00:34

To be fair it looks very clean which considering how much crap and clutter there is in there is a small miracle.

mokapot · 17/04/2019 00:37

Virgin Mary. ?

tinnitusqueen · 17/04/2019 00:37

Gorgeous garden!

SrSteveOskowski · 17/04/2019 00:38

I'm Irish in Ireland. The only people who have houses like that here are settled travellers (gypsies)
I can 100% guarantee you that is a traveller house. The Virgin Mary statue is the give away.

DrReed · 17/04/2019 00:42

So many mirrors. And omg that toilet roll holder!

Brandnewshit · 17/04/2019 00:52

Elton johns gaff?

AllTheFunAndGames · 17/04/2019 00:52

Did anyone else spot the stunt pineapple. The second house with the peacocks is even more hideous than the op's nomination. Grin

I was wondering was I the only one who thought that. I'm Irish in Ireland too and as soon as I saw it I thought that's a travellers house. The decor and the statues are obviously travellers style to me.

Jesus wept

thatwouldbeanecumenicalmatter · 17/04/2019 01:12

You know what, the more I look at it the more it grows on me 🙈

flyingspaghettimonster · 17/04/2019 01:26

We saw a lot of that sort of OTT stuff when looking for property in Philly. Things like fake plaster columns everywhere and gilded mirrors and fake plants hanging all over and statues everywhere. All those homes were elderly Italian couples downsizing..

Islands81 · 17/04/2019 01:29

Oh my.

It’s quite literally got it all going on.

greatandpowerfulozma · 17/04/2019 01:38

The snakeskin style wallpaper in the laundry room of the second house is playing on my mind. I know it sounds weird but I feel sorry for the washing machine being stuck in there... I need to go to sleep Blush

Hollyhobbi · 17/04/2019 01:48

I'm Irish in Ireland too but I don't think that's a settled travellers house! More an elderly Spanish or Italian woman's sort of place! The travellers would have the sofas still covered in plastic. And there's no Waterford crystal or china gypsy brides on display in China cabinets.

Mumsymumphy · 17/04/2019 01:56

If that house isn't haunted I'll eat my (garishly decorated) hat

e1y1 · 17/04/2019 02:28

Oh my days. The person who owns that house is clearly on something.

If they're not - they ought to be.

BustleInYourHedgerow · 17/04/2019 02:41

100% agree they are Travellers. Carpet in the kitchen, immaculately clean and virgin Mary is a dead giveaway.

ElGuardiandenoche · 17/04/2019 03:21

I was just reading the description of the second house that @IHateUncleJamie posted a link too and they have a hand painted MURIEL in the garden 😂

ConstanzaAndSalieri · 17/04/2019 03:40

Can you imagine the face on the removal company’s surveyor as s/he looks round.

“Well... it’s gonna cost you...”

TheFastandCurious · 17/04/2019 03:46

I just came here for the comments and they haven’t disappointed Grin

MistakenHoliday · 17/04/2019 03:54

God, imagine Our Lady watching you in the bedroom 😳

Oliversmumsarmy · 17/04/2019 04:03

It might have been renovated over many years (1965-1973 would be my guess)

When was it fashionable to have carpet in the kitchen?
