I don't live there. But I sort of wish I knew whoever does...

It's not to my taste but it's brilliant that someone has gone to so much effort to make it how they like it.

I agree - and it looks spanking clean!

Whoever owns it loves it, so it will be well-maintained as well as uniquely decorated.

I'd be interested in it if I lived in the area. And you get a lot for your money, too.

AngelaKilfeather · 19/04/2019 10:35

I have the sort of house that makes minimalists weep too, but less statues. Actually no statues.

TaliZorahVasNormandy · 19/04/2019 11:17

Who the fuck carpets a kitchen?

And what's with the ugly rugs. Pretty sure my mum had a blue version at some point.

Jezebel101 · 19/04/2019 11:28

You can tell someone absolutely treasures that house, it's obviously their pride and joy. I feel bad crapping all over that, it's clear that its taken care of and loved.

One mans eyesore is another mans treasure.

origamiunicorn · 19/04/2019 11:44

I'm not sure I'd call that extensively modernised 😆

Not to my taste but good on them for making it theirs.

neonlight · 19/04/2019 12:48

well, obviously a lot of love has gone into it. wonder why they are selling.

DameDoom · 19/04/2019 13:59

I am not at all keen when people sneer at others' houses. It's mean-spirited and cruel. I bet the owners are brilliant hosts and your glass would never go un-topped. Christmas round there would be fab and you'd be made very welcome.

DameDoom · 19/04/2019 14:08

I bet they do an amazing spread as well.

Flobochin · 19/04/2019 14:09

It's ugly and I'd find it very unrestful. Horrible house imho.

Jezebel101 · 19/04/2019 15:42

You'd leave that house stuffed with food and drink and fond of the owners, I'm sure of it. It's not stylish or elegant but it's just stuffed with personality and warmth, I'd take an evening in that house over a night in a grey monolith any day.

S1naidSucks · 19/04/2019 16:57

Its too busy for my taste, but some of the individual pieces and walls look amazing. You certainly can’t fault the skill of craftsmanship that has went into it.

lljkk · 19/04/2019 17:07

I love house in OP's link. A feast for the eyes.
Structurally (what counts, because decor is temporary) it has lots & lots of potential.
I'd shatter all those ceramics in minutes, if I did live in them (by accident, am a klutz).
Is there a ceramic on the hob? My step-mom puts ceramics there. Never cooks.

Ravenclawclassof84 · 19/04/2019 17:11

I honestly adore it! Lol at the "extensively modernised" though. And it's been on the market since August?! I hope the Virgin Mary is part of the deal!

Reisscon · 19/04/2019 22:27

I think it's hideous

GnocchiGnocchi · 19/04/2019 22:43

Check out the floor plan - the top floor! A bedroom...with a sitting area...with its own toilet and shower basically in the middle of the seating area. Wtf?! That's the kind of layout that appears in my odd dreams

GnocchiGnocchi · 19/04/2019 22:47

Just noticed you can see the reflection of the estate agent in the mirror in picture 9!

Jezebel101 · 20/04/2019 01:59

I hope nobody recognises it and links the owner here. They'd be heartbroken.

Jizzonmyface · 20/04/2019 11:25

oh my days. that is just painful.
