. . . in saying there are two lines on this test?!

IVF cycle 4, on day 4 after a beautiful hatching blast transfer so early to be testing. I have an achey lower back, sore boobs, twinges and cramps but I know from bitter experience it's probably just the progesterone talking.

But . . . look! Two lines, right? Faint, but there? I'm so hopeful this is it, this is our baby!

I only glanced and can see 2 lines in the first picture.

Had to look harder on 2nd image but can see something.

The second picture is less clear for me to call.

As I said, I only see one line, and there is nothing wrong with my 'device.'

I am also not the only one who only sees one line. I genuinely think that is a negative pregnancy test.

I hope the OP is pregnant, I really do, but I am concerned that people are filling her with false hope.

Let us know OP. Come back in a few days and tell me I am wrong.

I am a crap line spotter but can see 2 lines (albeit one is super faint!) on the first test.

I am loving your mentality OP, but maybe err a little more on the side of caution until your official testing day? Just for self preservation x

The first image, the line looks grey. The second image is much more faint but there is a slight tinge of pink. Ive had tests like that and not been pregnant. Ive also had a late 1st trimester mc and a cp. It is only kindness that leads people to advise caution. Op, test again in two days with fmu. Your answer should be a little more definitive then. Keeping fingers crossed for you.

It's so, so early to test so for those who are cautious, I totally get it - I've been here before so I'm not taking anything for granted. But, I have hope, and it's a bit more hope than I had this morning so that's great!

@Kel801 that must be an extremely difficult decision to make. I don't know how I would feel if I were in your shoes. All I can do is reassure you that this little baby is so, so wanted, and will be loved and looked after and adored, as will your embryos. I'm more grateful than I can put into words and (as clichéd as it sounds) it is literally the most special, amazing gift to have a chance at being a mum when you wouldn't otherwise. I even wrote a soppy post - "To the donors" I think I called it - because I was just overwhelmed that someone would do this for a stranger. I'm trying to figure out how best to pay it forward, no matter what the ultimate outcome for me.

It is a positive. The instructions say, doesn't matter how faint, if a 2nd line is there it's positive and she has taken it early. So for me, there's no doubt it's a positive!

I've taken so many of that particular test in my time and that is definitely positive. The lines are very thin which to start with freaked me out and made me think it was an evap line. They are faint but pink so it's not an evap.

My first positive test looked like that - I see 2 lines

That’s def a positive- an early one hence its so light. But as each day progress and your hormones get higher the line will become stronger.

I don't understand how people can't see the line. It seems so clear on my phone, but admittedly it isn't clear whether it has colour or not.

I've peed on a lot of FRERs and there are definitely two lines (think those who can't see them either need new devices or new glasses!). I hope things progress well for you x

Very faint on first photo but possibly 2. Fingers crossed.

I can see 2 lines on both. 1st is very faint but it's pretty early. Did you use first morning wee too?
