AIBU to ask someone to explain feminist views on trans people please? I would really appreciate a variety of stances, preferably in a non-confrontational thread as I don't feel I have a proper understanding of it all and would like to. Thank you

Ah, I see. I don’t know the answer, I’m afraid. I just picked housing because it’s an area where I know discrimination against visible minorities happens.

@wonkotheSane42 that video is excellent as far as it goes. (Although extraordinarily annoying!).

The problem is that it is addressing, once again, a series of issues that most people have no problem with. And avoiding, once again, the areas where people do have a problem. Women’s sport, for example. Referring to lesbians sexual preferences as “genital hang ups”. That they can “get over” Medicating 8 year olds, potentially without parental consent. Retrospective transing of non gender conforming women. The issue of crime and the recording of crime. The really knotty issues that we have to find a way through.
