AIBU How many bottles of perfume do you own?

After reading another thread it made me wonder? And do you consider which one to wear or like me grab the nearest one? I have a lot but tbh I don’t have a favourite. Gifts for birthday, Christmas, valentines. They all smell lovely but it’s always the nearest which gets used!

I want to love Milton Lloyd but theres an odd note in them that my skin amplifies.

None! I’ve just run out of a Burberry one I was given for my birthday... two and a half years ago 😂.

I am going to buy a new one soon, but have no idea what I want.

About 40 to 50 (at a guess) at the moment. I split and rotate them by season and day/night scents in separate baskets. I adore perfume!

I usually have 3-4 - a daytime fragrance, a cheapy one for work, an evening fragrance and some kind of a decant to try out.

I'm currently down to one though, I'm getting a bit antsy!

Thank God some of the Perfumistas have turned up to make my stash look less bad!! I was really worried when I looked at the first few responses this morning.
I've probably got at least 50 bottles and probably the same of small sizes/5ml decants.
The collection goes from my vintage novelty Avon bottles from the 70s, through my lovely original 80s Opium, to now when I wear Dolce Vita, a lot of Amouage, 4160 Tuesdays, Annick Goutal and I love my 5ml sample of Tauer's L'air du Desert Marocain. Am also happy to wear the cheap dupes from Lidl /Aldi and SJP's Lovely and Stash too. I am a perfume ho

I've got vintage Opium on my bucket list. I had vintage Obsession and it was amazing, the modern one inst even close.

A couple but rarely wear it

One. I only wear Chanel Coco Mademoiselle.

Only one. The one I adore - Dolce & Gabanna Light Blue Intense.

Just one - and I live in terror of it being discontinued as I've worn it for 40 years now.

Yup BadPenny - vintage Opium is DIVINE - so rich and strong and takes me instantly back to my teenage years.

I have 4 but if I had more disposable cash I’d happily spend a fortune on perfume. It makes me happy and I wear it even if I’m staying in all day and usually put some on before bed ( I live alone).

I have Roma for men which I’ve absolutely adored for over 30 years and never found anything else that smells like it. Then 3 bottles of Jo Malone - Dark Amber and Ginger Lily; Black Cedarwood and Juniper and Peony and Blush Suede.

EnormousDormouse I've got a reasonable Opium-a-like in an oil formulation and its gorgeous.
I've had 3 lots of Mitsouko, the original vintage, the 90's formulation and the modern. I found the vintage too much like gardenia, and the modern one too brittle. But the 90's formula was my favourite.

I have about 10. I have work ones and daytime ones (favourite is Flower Kenzo) and then I save the more expensive ones (Ralph Lauren Romance and Chanel No 5) for evening and special occasions.

1. Jean Paul Gaultier Classique (my everyday perfume) and Scandal, Jo Malone Vanilla and Anise, Peony and Blush Suede, Orange Blossom and Nectarine Blossom and Honey and Chanel Allure which I wore on my wedding day and haven't worn since.

I own two. One I was talked into in a shop having a sale and while it has a nice clean citrusy smell, it fades quickly so I sometimes use it during the day at home after doing a lot of cleaning or exercise or doing something smelly as a pick me up to hold me over until I can take a shower so I can use it up rather than it just sitting there.

The other I inherited from my MIL which comes in a lovely bottle and mostly sits around and has a lasting, but very light hard to describe scent.

I have about 25-30 bottles, I love my perfumes but about 5 of them are my regulars.

Just the one here... Gucci Flora. I prefer the eau de toilette to the parfum. I wish they'd redo Dune Summer. That was my perfect scent of all time. I might get another little Dune actually. It's delicious.

Gucci flora is lovely. I've never quite forgiven them for discontinuing Gucci II though.

I've got about 25. Some very special ones, some "oooh there's a 25% discount on The Perfume Shop"

Day-to-day go-tos are Guerlain Vetiver, Chanel No.19, Hermes Eau des Merveilles Bleues and Dior Eau Sauvage

Also Elizabeth Taylor White Diamonds -- I wear it when I feel like wandering around a casino, hissing through palm fronds

Oh christ, I've got loads. Maybe fortyish full bottles and gazillions of samples.

Favourites are: L'air du desert Marocain by Andy Tauer. Vanille by Mona di Orio. 1740 by Histoires de Parfums and Baccarat Rouge by that Maison Francis bloke.

15 in my perfume wardrobe. I like to chop and change. Some of them are more 'day' perfumes and some are heavier ones more suitable for evening.

None. And I wish nobody else had either, if they are going to go out in public with it on.
