AIBU How many bottles of perfume do you own?

After reading another thread it made me wonder? And do you consider which one to wear or like me grab the nearest one? I have a lot but tbh I don’t have a favourite. Gifts for birthday, Christmas, valentines. They all smell lovely but it’s always the nearest which gets used!

1 cheaper one for work

1 that was my wedding day perfume, which I wear every now and then.

I've worn same perfume for 16 years 'Armarni SHE' which is lovely and light.

My new fave is Narciso Rodriguez 'pomme'

Think i have about 20 some are cheap ones though like primark and Next, a few average price and and some i had for birthdays etc that are more pricey and i use more for special occasions.
Dont really have a favourite scent i do like Marc Jacobs various Daisy scents though! Normally just grab any from the cheaper collection for day to day use all the bottles look nicely displayed on my unit though

None. Can’t bear perfumes, they give me a headache and make me feel sick. I really dislike it when I have to travel in a car with someone wearing perfume, or when someone transfers the smell to my children. I do wear a lot of make up though.

2, my “signature scent” (sounds so wanky) and my wedding scent which I only wear for special occasions with DH.

For the first time since my teenage years, I have none! I ran out of my Clarins Eau Ressourcante last week and have no back up except for DD's Katy Perry Purr (which is actually quite nice).
In the days before mortgages and kids, I used to have several perfumes on the go all sitting pretty on my dressing table now I just have the one at a time.

Three:
4711 German cologne for special events (It is very light and fades quickly. It also cures migraines.)
Lemon Verbena from Bath and Body Works for casual things - shopping or school runs
Pink Grapefruit Splash from BBW for around the house

I don't wear it and avoid people who wear strong perfume it gives me a headache.

Two - Avon “luck” for day to day wear and Jo Malone “English pear and freesia” for special occasions.

Around 10 but I pretty much have three favourites.
I wear Armani Diamonds every day after discovering it recently and I never feel totally ready if I've got no perfume on, I do have (diagnosed) OCD which centres around order, cleaning and smells.

My middle of the road favourite is Poeme by Lancôme. It is the most beautiful smell and when it came out in 1995 when I was 17, it
was marketed as being the perfume that attracted people to you

My night time/special occasion perfume is Alien by Mugler.
Now and again if I'm feeling reckless I will wear it during the day.

I Dust my bottles regularly and have them in a lovely wicker basket saying "perfumes and potions"

Can anyone recommend a nice one that actually lasts? You know the type you walk past someone and you can smell it? I haven’t found one 😩

Organza for daytime, tresor evening, no5 special occasion.
I smell horrid with most scents only those three even s well pleasant.

I have about 18 bottles of fragrances, all in their boxes and kept in a cool dark place, I wear one everyday as it makes me feel good.

I usually have 3 or 4 on the go. Different scents for summer day/night and winter day/night. However my trusty favourite does seem to suit most occasions and I go through it faster than the others.

@Twolostsouls that depends on your body chemistry. I personally find that floral scents wear away quickly for me but citrus lingers on me, but that's trial and error and may be different for you. It also depends on if you're wearing eau de toilette (which is a more dilute fragrance) or eau de parfum which is stronger.

Some people layer fragrances with the shower gel, body lotion and fragrance spray all being the same (like a gift set) to make it last longer.

My dh buys all my perfume...He loves researching them. He has only got it wrong once.
My current favourite is Biblioteque by Byredo....others are Molecule and Tender by Miller Harris.
I wear different ones every day.

Chanel perfumes last.

Get parfum, it's stronger than eau de toilette

Only one - Femme by Hugo Boss, been wearing it for about 12 years.

I've got about fifteen with some left in them. More, if you include samples. Samples are a great way to experiment.

I love Aura by Thierry mugler for cooler months and Michael Kor’s wonderlust for summer.. at the moment anyway

Twosouls try tresor I've had a few compliments wearing it also agree about channel lasting.

Ive only got two, Cartier panthere is the one I use most days, also have one I bought in a French perfumery which is an Orange Blossom.

Most perfumes make me feel ill. I have to avoid the people in stores that want to spray something all over you!!!

But in the late 70s I smelled a lovely perfume on a friend of mine when we were at a disco. I asked her what it was and that is the only perfume I have worn since - Je Reviens [an old lady one probably!!!]

I have 6 bottles...2 Jo Malone ones that I layer together, Chanel Allure, Angel and Alien (Thierry Mugler) and The One. I wear Allure or Alien in the evening if I'm going out, the others are daytime ones. I've just run out of my Issey Miyake 🤷‍♀️

I don't feel dressed without perfume.

I have one - all time favourite and have never personally understood swapping or having different moods/seasons for perfumes. Mega scent fail perhaps ?
